They always seem to be hosted by rich people with big houses which makes sense as they would obviously be able to afford the best swingsets that could accommodate the most people. The only thing that confuses me is why you have to put your keys in a bowl when you walk in but it's probably to prevent them from jabbing you if you fall off.
They must be a great workout too because I remember my parents used to go all the time when I was a kid and they were always incredibly tired when they got back. I think they still go regularly to this day and I find it admirable that they're so passionate about fitness in their elder years.
Haha, it's just another one of those local cultural quirks that you northerners probably never hear about so I thought it was worth sharing.
