Apparently McAvoy is only 5’7” which is really short for a male lead but in all the movies I’ve seen him in, I never once thought “Huh, that’s a short guy”. They must be really good with camera angles and making sure to never stand him directly next to one of his costars. With Tom Cruise it’s obvious especially when he’s next to Ving Rhames but I really assumed McAvoy was at least six feet tall.

Just for comparison, Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise) is fucking 6’4” and even towers over Bill Hader so McAvoy should have looked like a dwarf compared to him but you never saw that.

I’m genuinely impressed. Tom Cruise gets made fun of for being a short action star but McAvoy pulled it off in plain sight.

I liked it overall but yeah some parts were dumb. Like the fat kid turned hot guy is all nervous and dorky around Beverly and I’m like “Bro, you’re a 40-year-old man. You should be able to have a basic conversation with a woman. And even if she’s not into you it doesn’t matter, just go nail a college student on tinder and stop being such a whiny little bitch”. Ritchie’s crush on Eddie was also dumb and came out of nowhere.

Worst part though was the zombie chauffeur, holy shit that was stupid and I can’t believe they kept it in
