I was hanging out with my buddy and his friends in rural Arkansas. They brought up a bunch of different news stories and I just happened to know something about every single one of them solely based on the fact that the stories were posted here at /r/drama. The small amount of knowledge I have about the Corona virus is from here. I had seen it come up before but I figure every other big news story never even effected me so why waste energy on it? I never got Ebola and I'm almost certainly not going to get the corona virus. If I start hearing more about it in my day to day life then I can start worrying, but until then I think I'll be fine.
