I still genuinely cannot tell if this was a bit that they were doing or if he actually dropped this on her in front of a live audience.
Here is the video and it happens at about 9 and a half minutes in (depending on the commercials when you load the link).
I remember watching this on TV back in the day and thinking it was seriously brutal. I don't know if they had discussed it prior or if she actually did not know they were totally broken up until he said this on his own TV show. If he actually did say that without her knowledge, that was absolutely savage beyond words.

I've always gotten the impression that Jeselnik is actually not an asshole. If you listen to his podcast (which everyone should be doing) it's clear that when he's being mean to people he's just doing a bit but he actually cares a lot about everyone around him.

nah that's true though. Comedy Central puts the commercials in the video without separating them like most other sites do because then the ad blockers won't work. So if it has different ads when you reload it then it will play at different times
