Did you know that they're releasing an eight-part documentary series about the making of 'The Mandalorian' which itself only has eight episodes thus far? God, I fucking hate Disney, man.

By far the most masturbatory company I've ever seen. I genuinely feel like a solid third of their projects are made just to stroke their own egos (if not more). No wonder those thin-skinned fucks threw a tantrum when Scorsese dunked on them. Deep down I'm sure they knew that he was right and that they're nothing more than corporate sellouts.

My heart already hurt before I read this but I’m much more aware of it now.

you didn’t say to microwave them....?

How much time a day do you spend watching movies and tv shows?

The same amount of time he spends not fucking.

JK Lawlz we know you're a pussy crushing king.

tru

Can't wait for the two part Baby Yoda one. Gonna be 100% FULLY LIT AF FAM 💯👌😂

Scorsese made a TV miniseries without the breaks. A guy steals beef and then gets involved in trade union politics. It was release for home streaming after a token cinema run.

It's not cinema for me, and I think Scorsese too, and when he realised that, he lashed out by coping with projection.

The Irishman is really about growing old and alone, watching your friends die, and looking back on your life with regrets. It's especially powerful when you take into consideration the fact that almost everyone involved in the making of it is elderly and likely asking themselves a lot of the same questions. I mean shit, do you realize that Scorsese collaborated with a lot of the same people on The Irishman that he did on his literal first film ever? Harvey Keitel, a young barely in his mid-twenties when they first worked together is now 80. Thelma Schoonmaker, the woman who has edited most of his films, is also 80. Scorsese himself is 77.

It's literally made by a bunch of old people who all collectively know they're going to die soon and that's what it's about. That's very morbid and depressing but it's also very raw and thought-provoking.

I still thought Silence was a better movie overall but The Irishman still left me with a lot to talk about too.

Yeah. Not cinema. Just a dreary miniseries. MCU is cinema.

Capeshit 🙄

The peak of cinema really. I'd like to see Scorsese try and create as many snarky quips as Joss Whedon!

I feel like Sandler took a similar angle with Uncut Gems. The story was Shakespearean tragedy for the group of old pawnshop Jews and none of the other characters could possibly feel the same.

Btw fuck Arno. Pussy ass bitch.

I just remember that ginger kid from the last season of Breaking Bad being in it and, damn, he got fat.

that guy is in everything. I see him in a major production once or twice per year. It's insane. He must have the best agent around

also somehow he managed to hook Kirsten Dunst and preg her up

The Irishman was great for educating zoomers who don't know shit about why rational adults are anti-union.

Guy in my union when on a shooting spree murdered like 5 people but cops still couldn't arrest him cause bosses negotiated some union rule that they're immune to prosecution. happens all the time. Crazy shit man.

Guy in my union took over Cambodia and executed everyone who went to college or wore glasses. Turns out he was immune to prosecution. Crazy shit man.

Guy in my goat herding union flew a plane into a tower in some godforsaken shithole, got away with it without beeing arrested.

Because boomers already have pensions and don't want anyone else in on their racket?

The only reason you wouldn't want a union if if you had no concept of what's good for you V what's good for everyone. Libertarians do a 180 here. Unions hurt workers who aren't in the union. Unions aren't good for society and hurt service quality, efficiency, etc. But unions do work out great for the workers in them. The same guys who praise bosses looking out for themselves rip on workers doing just that (No surprise that these guys are often employers, too).

Maybe they're just really desperate right now and searching through all the footage they have to try to cobble together something they can release. Next they'll make a new Marvel movie just by stitching together scenes that got cut out of other Marvel movies.

You do have to admit though that Baby Yoda is adorable. It's the one good thing that company has come up with in years.

yeah because aren't all of the other exclusive Disney shows quite a good ways away? It was kind of dumb to only release one in like a whole year

It was a cute gimmick that would have been much better as a one-off than a central plot point

Based Filoni dabbing on arrDrama mods

lawlz is just mad he's not getting a Ben10 feature film

Have you ever talked to anyone who works for Disney? That shit is legit like a cult it's wild.

Also Disney is great at making money. If enough people want it, they will make it. And I guarantee there are enough people who want this to justify it.

money counter go brrr

They probably don’t have much else filming right now and they still have a full staff of editors on contract, so why not. It’s better than being dicks and firing everyone who isn’t working.

They probably have a ton of actual stuff done and ready to release but they’re sitting on it until theaters reopen.

The only time I've ever given a shit about the nuances of f*male anatomy is when I was doing a hard guro/vore RP where I needed to remember how to spell the parts of her reproductive system that my character was eating.

When The Last Jedi was in theaters i was walking around the supermarket and i picked up a tangerine bag which had a Star Wars ad that said something like Join The Rebellion and a picture of Star Wars characters on it. I felt a deep yet slight tinge of hatred toward Disney in that moment.

Tangerines are degenerate. Why can't you eat real oranges instead of being a f@gg0t?

Fake ass orange eating ass

Star Wars has been sticking its name on food for 40 years.

Did you enjoy the Clone Wars finale at least, Lawlz?

I never watched that show actually

Crashing this Venator

With no survivors

I recall when this began, and hated it then. When making-of specials, and soundtracks dropped months before the movie. Yeah, the 80s culture may have been a cancerous sore on America's testicle, but the 90s are a paper mill by our drinking water.

Did you post this because today is starshit day

All I want is a new Walking with Dinosaurs series. How is it this fucking hard? I've waited 20 fucking years. Get it together BBC

bet it got a ton of people to resub for it though. Since it's disney that's all that really matters.

I know, thanks

You fuck raccoons instead of Gwen Tennyson.

To be fair the Heart of Darkness documentary is better than Apocalypse Now.

eh. I'd rather have this than an 8-part making-of about the last jedi and how we need to trust women lol.

plus this is an indication that theyre not afraid to milk the mandalorian to its last drop which is a good thing in the short run and a bad thing in the long run. personally my ancestors are the type of people who died to the cold of winter due to not storing food during summer, so biologically I'm incapable of knowing what "the long run" is. im just excited about the mandalorian getting attention.

Here you are advertising it. I will not watch it but someone who sees this will now, you nitwit. And you’re gonna watch it over plate after plate of tendies too.

Lawlz Disney is not a movie making company, it’s a fandom management company.

Remember that people travel across the world and pay thousands of dollars to see C3PO guy speak on a stage for an hour about how awesome he is.

If you're not sucking that sweet disney daddy's cock what you're even doing?

Did you get those TOS Remastered DVDs for Christmas in the end

I'll see you in the protest if Disney every tries to acquire Star Trek 🤜
