Hello /r/drama, I would like to start a thread for us to simply appreciate my stickies and all they bring to this sub. I don't think you guys realize how much I truly sacrifice to be a mod here.

I really think my stickies have been taken for granted lately. Every day you guys are like "Hey Lawlz, where is today's sticky? Give me another sticky!" or "Hey ML, write six paragraphs about my favorite childhood TV show, I expect it on my desk by 6 AM tomorrow". It's truly exhausting.
But the worst part is how rarely I get a thank you or even so much as a "please kill yourself" to show I'm at least noticed and valued for my efforts. Every day while you are at work, I'm at the house slaving away over a hot keyboard so that you have a nice fresh sticky when you get home. You just take, take, take, and quite frankly I have to speak up!
When my wife comes up to me and asks if I would like to have a threesome with her and one of her clients at the modeling studio she runs, do you think I like saying "No, honey, I have to post on /r/drama today." Do you think I'm proud of the fact that my kids see that blurry .jpeg of my face more than they see me in person? I mean for god's sake, my stock portfolio just shot up in value and it broke my heart knowing I would have to use the profits to purchase reddit gold instead of putting it in their college fund. I would have at least gotten them something for their birthdays but after being on this sub so long, I've forgotten when any of those even are. Young Ben, Gwen, and Kevin have missed out on so much so that I can make my posts.
Do you realize I even missed being at my grandfather's deathbed and in turn, did not get to hear his final words? Although to be fair, they sounded pretty boring. From what the nurse told me, it was something about wanting me to re-evaluate my life and stop wasting every minute I had before it was too late. Dementia must have really been taking hold at that point as it sounded like the ravings of a man who had lost his sanity. Poor guy thought he was Jacob Marley or something.
Anyway, I think you probably get my point. So the next time one of my stickies makes you laugh, cry, and rethink your place in this universe, remember that I gave up almost everything to bring it to you. That is my gift to you all.
