Sounds like a scam. Probably blew what money it had on drugs and is unemployed/unemployable.
That memoir is all garbage, no historian takes it seriously. The author sexed it up to get sales and little of the most salacious details are confirmed in any other source.
More do to landlords. Especially ones who can get mortgage forbearance or those that are while still trying to evict people. If you arenโt sacrificing for your community right now or reeeing about your passive income profits which you should never count as a guaranteed income unless youโre rslurred, I have no sympathy for them at this point.
It's a classic scam, asking to be someone's sugar daddy, sending them cheques and then saying you want some of the money back. The process of trying to find them would be difficult enough and it's doubtful they even live in the US. It's basically an e-thot Nigerian prince scam.
