ResetEra tr01d drama continues as forum slowly turns into the world's shittiest soap opera

Read my last post on the subject for the backstory.

Possibly go to a certain New Zealand farming website's dedicated NeoGAF/ResetEra thread to watch the drama unfold in real time. This current event starts on page 1543.

Anyways, the slightly abbreviated version:

This is, naturally, over Cyberpunk Twenty Twenty Whateverthefuck. The drama mostly starts when the tr01ds realize the only way off of everyone's ignore lists is to make the Official Thread for the game, which would mean that anyone wanting to talk about the game would have to unignore them (or else the thread won't show up). But to do this, they have to wrest control from the current guy making it, named Black Chamber. There efforts start with this ridiculous WORDS WORDS WORDS post holy shit accusing him of being an astroturfer.

A prominent tr01d user named Kyuuji leaks a PM, over an alt, from Black Chamber from like four months ago. A j*nny points out that obviously Kyuuji is the one who leaked it. Normally this would be a bannable offense, but instead the j*nny is demodded and y'alled for "misgendering."

A guy goes into the dedicated Cyberpunk tr01d thread and says they're ruining the forum. Perma-y'alled since the only thing a ResetEra j*nny likes less than being called a cop is someone saying ResetEra sucks.

J*nnies cave and say they'll ban Black Chamber for a month. This only further enrages the tr01ds as he's still making the OT. Some funny responses as users try desperately to figure out what the Rightthink response to this is - "POG. Edit: This is not POG. That's a yikes from me."

Autists who just want to talk about video games are starting to RISE UP.

Finally, after trolling through his post history the tr01ds hit upon paydirt from January 2019: HE DOESN'T LIKE NAUGHTY DOG!!! "IS THIS YOUR KING?" "I LITERALLY CAN'T BREATHE." "WHAT THE FUCK MODS?" "YIKES!" The final nail in the coffin is when they find two-year old tweets revealing he's a D@ddy Defense Force rightoid.

As being a Republican is literally a bannable offense on Era, the j*nnies perma-y'all Black Chamber and announce they'll just make the thread themselves, and also encourage users to doxx and report anyone they suspect of being a "Trumper." The remaining threads dedicated to the actual game are "temporarily" y'alled, meaning the "CDPR is lynching tr01ds" thread is (as of this posting) the only Cyberpunk thread still standing.

Some guy makes the longest sobpost in history. Shit's so r-slurred that even SomethingAwful is dunking on it.

I've thought about this for maybe thirty seconds, and I think I understand the root of the problem.

Ever notice it's the gaming community, specifically, that produces the highest tro1d per capita? Given that we know all women are basically 13 year olds and generally hold no responsibilities outside of motherhood, I think it's obvious many of them are just trying to escape growing up so they can continue playing video games and masturbating all day.

As a side note: I wonder how many tro1ds would take on motherhood, if technology allowed for that. I'm going to guess not many would.

From the OP’s end, a lot of the OTs are fairly elaborate. They’re mostly just bandwidth-hogging image dumps that nobody reads, but in this case the guy supposedly put in a ton of effort into making his which is why the j*nnies were so reluctant to do anything about him despite the tr01ds screeching.

From the tr01ds’ point of view, the OP frames how a thread will go and they don’t want the OT to be a hype thread. They also can’t shit up the OT because ResetEra has an ignore user feature. If they can’t have discussion of the game banned (which is what they really want), the next best thing is to have either one of them or a janny write the OT and make it about how CDPR is killing tr01ds.
