A lot of this comes from these people having no idea what goes into a body like this, especially at the age these people are.
Like Idc who you are, if you're 40+ years old and within a few months go from skinny fat to completely jacked/toned you aren't convincing me you're natty.
For sure that’s possible natural in a longer timeframe, but yeah he must be on some sort of compound for results in such a short space of time. Maybe SARMs since they are the cool kid PEDs all the children are taking nowadays.
Hugh Jackman was actually honest about it. He didn’t drink something like 36 hours before a shirtless scene as Wolverine and only did one per movie. I guarantee he would have probably played the character longer had it not been so physically taxing.
This wouldn’t be controversial at one point, but the “natty or not” circlejerks got so obnoxious that there is now a big “no one does steroids” anti-jerk. As usual, no place for nuance.
That’s what’s weird about a lot of these blockbusters. Rather than get a guy in his twenties that is muscular, they get a guy in his forties and pump him full of drugs.
also because he looks like pakistani buzz lightyear. even if he's not on roids he's definitely on SOMETHING, maybe off-brand adrenochrome or some kind of space drugs.
this guy probably goes through razors like the fucking wolf man
Is HGH why so many buff actors get a puffy face after putting meat on for roles?
I feel like for example Ben Affleck and Matt Damon look way different than they did in their youth and it isn’t just normal aging. Matt Damon especially lost his looks because in the late nineties, he was a seriously handsome kid.
Could be. Back during the baseball steroid hysteria, the equipment manager for the SF Giants revealed that Barry Bonds’ hat size literally started increasing when he was in his late 30s. Also, people have speculated since like 2010 that Dwyane Wade was on HGH since his jaw/head got bigger throughout his career.
There’s no rule against PEDs in movies so I’d guess there’s even more flagrant use among that crowd.
Yeah. It’s kinda created a warped image of reality though. Plus it’s harder for me to suspend disbelief that these actors can do all this athletic shit when they’re so huge and lumbering. Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan were so light on their feet cause they only weighed like 140 pounds.
Dwayne Johnson may be huge but I wonder how far he could run without getting winded.
Ben Afflecks "change" I think is mostly from weight gain. When he's down to his 90s weight he looks very much like himself, whereas when he's heavier he seems to carry more weight in his face than most people do.

They're all on steroids.

Seriously, this is a major “no shit”
Tom Holland is probably the only one not juicing. Chris Hemsworth isn’t just buff, he’s fucking HUGE.

Redditors and journos that haven’t even touched a barbell in their lives love to talk about gear for some reason

Loads of guys have bodies like that without "help" but they don't get it in a year and certainly not at his age.

I like the tweet acting like no one has ever pointed out that the Mayo Chrises are juiced af

Not all. I think some of them just bulk then takes pills and weight lose pills.
Also before a shoot don't drink, eat, and just shit. The skin becomes super tight which shows the muscles a lot more visable.

The 2 day of dehydration + diuretics. Some of the most miserable shit bodybuilders do themselves.
3 MasterLawlz 2021-01-04
I genuinely don’t get it. Like why would anyone actually want to do that.
7 Minimum_T-Giraff 2021-01-04
It just 2 days before any competition or shoot. So Hugh Jackman did it probably just 1-2 times for shirtless shots.
8 MasterLawlz 2021-01-04
Yeah but Hugh was getting paid millions and he had to do it once every few years. Do bodybuilders get paid enough to make it worth it?
12 red1dragon588 2021-01-04
Bodybuilders do it for the bussy
2 ChapoDestroyer 2021-01-04
That's worth more than money.
2 Minimum_T-Giraff 2021-01-04
Top-level of bodybuilders are mixed bag.
Most don't earn money that is a living instead the have other ventures. Some its just a hobby.

he literally started looking like this at 42 and people want to say he's natty

1 RedAero 2021-01-04
It's because the new guy in his twenties doesn't have a famous name yet. How is that weird, it's blindingly obvious.
1 MasterLawlz 2021-01-04
Yeah. Still ridiculous though
7 JeanPeuplu 2021-01-04
I mean just looking at his traps is enough to know he took steroids, he's not trying to hide it.

Most people's abs are lopsided, that's super normal.
You just never see them lmao.
1 Big-Ant_ 2021-01-04
To that degree? It looks like a botched surgery
2 kermit_was_wrong 2021-01-04
Yes, often to that degree.

The best example of HGH effects on heads is Joe Rogan.
