I've had a lot of issues dating because apparently I'm supposed to have a carefree open schedule be available at 5pm on a Tuesday to go out with some dude? Sorry not sorry I'm working.
Weird peacocking of paying for my stuff and then trying to belittle my career because 'I must not make that much to let the man pick up the check!'
Friggin dingus I tried to twice before I let you pay at your insistence.
Men insisting on paying for things is maddening.
I've also met a lot of academics who are mad that I don't care/grovel about their masters or phd they are working on because they have no real world experience other than mooching off their parents and being broke at age 30.
Almost all have said some variant of 'You don't understand because you're in the corporate side of things. We do things for passion, not for money.'
I'm dating a great guy currently that I would definitely say is a feminist. But he has these huge, up his own ass moments of mansplaining still.
I have a hot temper and sometimes I still want to break up with him when he says ridiculously dumb condescending things.
It's a struggle but it's also a numbers game where you've got to play to win.
She says that she does not care about the degrees of her date. But does not get that this is probably the same reason why men do not care about hers.
At least she seems to have a real job, which is good. But what does she want from men? Should he be like "You have a good job, but so what? I do not care, this is your business. Great that you have money, though-" or "Wow!!! A woman, with a job! This is so incredible and I am literally scared of such unseen power!"
And more words words words
Good that you did not say this, though. This would have sucked.
Yeah thank God i didnt actually say that. God forbid, i might have also added that women like rich guys because theyre gold diggers and attracted to men who stay on top of societal hierarchies. I also didnt move on to add that women project this vanity and materialism on to men and then get baffled that guys dont really care about their degrees or position on a shitty office. I'd never do that on zweirama.

I bet you wanted to say something like this:
