Boys as young as 14 have been asking their teachers how to choke girls during s*x, a teacher has told the BBC.

Dr Tamasine Preece, who teaches at Bryntirion Comprehensive in Bridgend, said some children now felt it was a normal part of s*x and asked if "a soft squeeze on the neck is OK".

I personally don't mind it, even if it seems delusional, because a person is way more likely to be able to deal with any food addiction or weight issues they have if they can at least feel good about themselves first. I can't find it now but there's research that says we all comfort eat, it's just that people with eating disorders aren't also able to self soothe in other ways and therefore stop. So it seems counterproductive, but learning to feel good about themselves in other ways might actually be a path to helping some of them be healthier. Plus there's also a massive connection between having been sexually abused when young and being obese later, so I try to have compassion from that perspective. Really the blame lies with the people running the country because ultimately they regulate our food supply, supermarkets and advertising. There's a reason people put on more weight if they move to America. It's something that can be influenced at a national level.

I'm serious. I've been following these two body-positive YouTubers for several years now. All three of us were size 12 when I started watching. 4 years later, I'm still a size 12. One of them is a size 16-18, the other is a size 20. I only noticed how big the difference is when I watched an old collab they did. The difference is HUGE.

Over the years, every video they made about not fitting into clothes in the fitting room. Or how their body is “changing” and “that's ok”. And how they have to “size up and there's nothing wrong with that”. And how “if you don't fit in clothes, it's the clothes fault. Not yours.”

Well. This is where this philosophy got them. And if they're happy with that, good for them. But I don't want that for myself. And that was the last straw for me.
