I absolutely hate posts like this which generalizes a country the size of continental Europe with 1/3 of a billion people. Every lifestyle you want is here. You'll also get paid more and have more opportunities for a career if you're a skilled laborer.People get homesick and it sounds like OP has made no efforts to socialize. I get what you are saying, but have you ever lived outside the US ?I lived in California and drove all over the country, from West to East and even Canada. The land may be big, but it's pretty much the same everywhere. Now, I will admit the culture of the east coast feels quite different from the west coast. Okay move to Covington Kentucky. Covington is a suburb of Cincinnati Ohio and im literaly in walking distance to Cincinnatis city center. On any given day my neighbors grandkids are out paying basketball until the streetlights come on. I got guatamalins in the alley, which i can see from my back yard, working on cars what feels like 24/7. I can sit on my front porch until midnight and have people walking by nearly every 15 minutes, not everybody says hello but then again i don't say hi to every person who walks by either so who knows. I got a reoccuring card game in the garage next door every Thursday with some vietnam vets. I've been over many times to play with em, its a dollar a game so bring money. I take part in the neighborhood garden and the two women who run that are always out on a week day weekend doesnt matter.Listen there are a lot of places like covington in America, but no places exactly like the PH, because nowhere else is the Philippines. A good chunk of the places you listed hate women and will medically neglect them for the crime of getting pregnant. Thats exactly where women shouldn't go outside because people who vote for shit like that are mentally unstable and dangerous. Im writing a horror novel but have never read one and wanna get into reading horror to help inspire me and develop a stronger writing technique, any recs? I am looking for any form of horror really I just don't vibe with Stephen Kings writing style idk why! I could never get into his books, but please suggest any of your favorite horror novels and what about the writing and how they conveyed their stories stood out to you.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — "It's very embarrassing," said Corey Harris, 44, about learning that video showing him driving during a recent court hearing went viral.

"With the type of ties that I have with the church and the community, it's very embarrassing."

Harris appeared before Judge Cedric Simpson in Ann Arbor earlier this month for a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

7 News Detroit asked Harris what was he thinking when he made his appearance in court via video where he was seen driving.

"What was I thinking? I was thinking about about getting my wife medical help. That's what I was thinking," Harris said. "I wasn't thinking about the fact that I got a suspended license. I don't care about all that."

Simpson ordered Harris to report to the Washtenaw County Jail that day by 6 p.m.

But Harris told us that he never should have been charged with driving on a suspended license last fall, and he blames the mix-up on Saginaw Friend of the Court.

"They were supposed to have been lifted it two years ago, but they didn't," Harris said.

Secretary of State records show Harris' license was first suspended in 2010 for unpaid child support in Saginaw County.

Then in 2022, court records show that a judge rescinded that suspension, allowing Harris to drive again. But it appears that information never got to the Secretary of State where even as of Thursday afternoon, Harris' license is still listed as suspended — the same records police and the judge were going by.

Harris spent two days in jail. And Thursday, Harris said he went back to the Secretary of State to try to resolve the matter.

We reached out to the director of Saginaw's Friend of the Court in hopes of asking what may have gone wrong in Harris' case. We're waiting on their response.

Harris said, "Always double-check behind these workers because they will say that they will do something and they don't do it," Harris said.

They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.
