I've been reading some Effective Altruist writings and learned that even if AI had moral goals it could be very dangerous .

Like imagine an AI whos goal was to maximize the number of mosquito nets given to Africa, sounds great right?

NO! Because the AI would be willing to do anything in order to achieve it's goals it might do something like commit one of the largest acts of fraud in history to get the money for more mosquito nets!

Have you noticed that “centrist” has grown to have a negative connotation among many further left on the spectrum?

I've always personally seen myself as some sort of centrist, given that I agree with certain conservative points as well as certain liberal points too, although lately I disagree with more than I agree regarding both sides. Anyway, lately when speaking to some of my friends further left, some of them have used “centrist” in a negative light. I don't think this was the case a few years ago so I feel like it's some sort of a new phenomenon at least for my personal circles. Has anyone else noticed something similar?

Normally that would be cause for celebration but it's a song originally used in a porno. Lament that the only way to hear the full version is with porn moaning and laugh at the r-slur who originally uploaded the clip thinking no one would find out.
