Out of all subreddits I’d expect heated arguments to take place, this is one I didn’t expect. IMO the replier got pretty rude with OP and starting taking unnecessary digs and OP did get rude as well. They both were in the wrong though. This was probably the most immature argument i’ve seen here in a long time. Can’t believe this lasted over a week. It just ended not too long ago.

What you call "different opinions" and "political values" are existential threats to a lot of people in our community. Maybe you are in a place where you can live your daily life without having to worry about those threats but I guarantee you there are large numbers of our community who are faced with those threats each and every day.
