I may not have relationship experience but I do know one thing. They rely on open and honest communication. If you want to date a girl get to know her, find similar interests you have and then say "hey do you want to go get coffee.". Be nice, respectful and direct. Before "normal" guys ask for numbers, they know the response will probably be good. They've seen the SIGNS. You're talking to the girl, she is smiling, keeping eye contact, open body language, etc.
THEN you ask for the number, and she obviously says yes because she was liking the conversation and the act of you talking to her.
I have never had a girl in that situation.
The knowledge that it is hopeless. My campus is in the heart of a metropolitan city. Even though I wouldn't call myself hideously ugly, there are hundreds of 10/10 guys here that look like Hollister models.

What I recommend you do is make a goal for yourself to check out ten different social clubs. Find a group that does pub trivia (it's basically where you go to a bar and play a game of trivia). Find a group that does hiking. Find a group that watches movies or plays bored games. You only have to go one time in order to meet the goal, but force yourself to do it. You don't need to be the life of the party. You'll be around other people who are new. They'll try to make conversation with you, but for now you don't need to worry about striking up conversations with them. When they ask you about yourself, just smile and give a straightforward and humble answer. That's it. That's your goal.
Do you work out? You need to. Force yourself to do it and eventually your body will adapt and you'll love it, and you'll feel so much better about everything. That borderline autism that you have - that makes you want to systemitize everything. You want to focus on something until you've got all the rules figured out and have mastered it. Unfortunately (and this is not your fault, but it's unfortunate nonetheless), you were born into a society that gives you a ready, but empty, source of shit to systemitize - namely, video games (or whatever bullshit you're into). You focus on that too much. If you can manage to direct your focus toward "normie" stuff, you'll have a lot more success than you can imagine. So, start with exercising, and move on to diet. Learn about why certain exercises work, and why certain foods affect you the way they do. Check this out. Try to get your head around all the science stuff she's describing.
Where all of this is going is an answer to a question you asked up-thread:
The basic pattern is: (1) be in a time and place where it's socially acceptable. The exact parameters of that time and place depend on your skill and physical attractiveness. You're probably not hot enough to just pick up a random girl on the street, so don't do that. Instead, you're going to pick up a girl at a party - that's a time and place where it's socially acceptable no matter who you are. How are you going to get invited to a party? Well for a start, you're going to do what I told you to do above: join a bunch of social clubs and attend at least one meeting. Some of them you'll actually like and will want to continue attending. Eventually, you'll have friends and you'll get invited to cookouts and parties and shit.
(2) build attraction. You make a girl attracted to you by holding her attention for a while and being interesting. Beyond that, you are probably not a "normie" and you probably talk to women about weird shit that they don't want to hear. I've given you a plan for addressing that too, in the form of focusing your autism on diet and exercise. So now when women ask you what you're into, you can spout the shit from that video I linked above. I promise you, that will go over just fine with 99% of people.
(3) get her contact details, and ask her out. If you follow my advice, you'll be able to get this far. Might take six months or a year, but you will. Basically, you just ask for her number. You are so focused on sex and the idea of having a girlfriend that it has twisted and warped your view of relationships and women. I'm in a similar situation to you. I think you misunderstand me.
I'm not downvoting the lolcows. I'm not saying they should be downvoted either. I often go out of way to upvote downvoted comments if I think people are unnecessarily unfair with their voting ... even comments I disagree with.
My point is that unless they make some fundamental changes to the way reddit works a majority of people are going to keep using the downvote button as a way to say they disagree with someone.
The idea of people voting according to "whether something contributes to the conversation" just doesn't happen on 99% of reddit.
It's a shame. Discussions could be a lot more interesting and less one sided if people did what they're supposed to, but that's not what happens.
Keep posting the stickies by all means. Maybe you'll get some people to change their habits, but that's just the way the vast majority of redditors behave.

First of all I browsed the three subreddit and essentially all mostly all the contained four examples of discrimination against Asian men.
