First, he pretended to be asleep, and then later tried to justify his bigoted choice of "literature" with protestations of "Dad loud!" and "Need Mom!", but I threw all the offending books into a big sack to be properly burned later (along with all his other books for good measure). I'm giving him until Monday to get his shit together and find a new place to live since there's no talking to these people, but part of me thinks I should just start punching him now like the Nazi he is (these people are inherently violent). Seems fair enough to me. A gift of 9 books from one Trump after another worked to cut and slash program funding is a slap in the face. Remember when Trump gave the state parks his salary for the year, after cutting their budget by like 2 billion a year? Seems to me it's basically that. I, for one, stand with the librarian. I just went upstairs into my 2-year-old's room where I found these very books on his shelf! I couldn't believe this behavior was going on in my own house. I started screaming at him (for his own good, of course) explaining how Dr. Seuss was the product of an irredeemably racist AmeriKKKan culture and he needs to check his privilege, but he's already in too deep! First, he pretended to be asleep, and then later tried to justify his bigoted choice of "literature" with protestations of "Dad loud!" and "Need Mom!", but I threw all the offending books into a big sack to be properly burned later (along with all his other books for good measure). I'm giving him until Monday to get his shit together and find a new place to live since there's no talking to these people, but part of me thinks I should just start punching him now like the Nazi he is (these people are inherently violent).
