yeah, and when you think about it, Jenny was pretty much completely morally reprehensible.
she lead this retarded guy on for several decades, made him completely emotionally dependent on her, finally fucked him (which I'm fairly certain is illegal? can a retarded person legally consent?)... then she died of AIDS and stuck him with the baby, after not mentioning the baby for like 5 years
A lot of films have very dark plots when you remove all the emotional aspects.
First part of the notebook, a man threatens to kill himself if the girl doesn't go on a date with him (whilst she is on a date with another man). But thats cute for some reason...
The Air Bud Franchise is actually about justifying the systematic exploitation of animals to fulfill human desires by personifying them with child-like attributes in order to justify the abuses of animals by paralleling them with a child's innate need for adult(human) supervision.
yeah, based on her history of extremely self-absorbed and selfish behavior, I agree. that baby's daddy is probably some grateful dead roadie named Buck
Jenny was emotionally fucked up and Forrest was her only childhood friend while she was getting abused by her father.
I'm of the interpretation that she naturally developed feelings for Forrest, but knew she it was inappropriate due to his mental disability. Thus, she becomes on and off with Forrest through the years. At the end, she accepts their love as he is one of the only people who did not abuse her or fuck her over. I felt their romance was an incredibly tragic one between two people with mental problems.
I don't buy the whole 'I had a hard life, so it's okay to be a shit person' theory of life. It's just a copout. Most of those folks would still be shitty people if they'd lived charmed lives. I've known lots of people who've suffered and come out decent people.
It doesn't really excuse it, it just explains it. As the audience, I can appreciate how the details of her life affected her behavior. In real life, while I might think about the why's of it, I would still not tolerate a shitty person.
but it's ok because the lovechild baby of the retard and the ex coke addict cocktail waitress miraculously turned out to be one of the smartest kids in the class and that makes the audience forget about her reprehensible nature. If the kid ended up with down syndrome like he would in real life we'd realize Jennay is a horrible person and it would ruin the whole film.
Jenny rode the cock carousel, hit the wall (aids) ,married the beta bucks retard. Really this should be featured watching for the incel...I mean red pillers
Honest, in real life, a guy like him would have probably already been married. He was dumb as shit, but he wasn't a bad guy, he was a rich, highly decorate war-hero who represented his country in foreign sporting events. Someone would have hitched their wagon to his haul. He wasn't even a true tard, just really slow.

Kinda hard to expect normal behaviour from a woman that was constantly raped as a child.
1 TherapyFortheRapy 2017-11-29
Then shouldn't we just put people who've suffered down before they can hurt the rest of us?
1 fiodorson 2017-11-29
Wat?
1 TherapyFortheRapy 2017-11-29
Reddit has some weird hard-on for defending completely fictional woman from their own portrayals.
1 ineedmorealts 2017-11-29
Depends on how retarded I assume. Someone with the mental ability of a child likely couldn't, but those who are smarter could
Basically I imagine if they can live on their own they can consent, if they need a caretaker they can't.

The Moral of the Story.
Even a retard can make it in society as long as he has exceptional athletic ability and gets incredibly lucky.

If you have sexual intercourse with someone with aids, then you may get aids too, as aids can be spread by sexual intercourse.
That's why it's not a good idea to have sex with someone with aids.
1 Honk4Tits 2017-11-29
if you can get AIDS through vaginal intercourse than I agree
