I honestly don't get it, if you want a degree then fine but get it at some cheap college because employers really aren't gonna give two shits about where you got it from. The only argument I've heard for going to some 40k p/year school is the "connections" you make, whatever the fuck that means. And I can't imagine it actually makes a difference because nowadays anyone can go on indeed or LinkedIn to get connected to thousands of employers so you really don't have to know people to get hired anywhere. The only time I ever needed connections to get a job was my very first job at a shitty theater but that was because I had literally no work experience at the time obviously.
