In the past couple months, I made a website for my Dad that sells products. We had to figure out shipping. I knew “free” shipping would cause a lot of problems due to variance in weight, size, and customer location.
I almost described “free” shipping as “problematic”, but got hung up on the current usage of the word. I had to explain what I was talking about in detail to be clear that I wasn’t saying that it would be offensive. (I’m sure someone would find a reason to get offended by “free shipping” though.)

Ebonics isn't used in part because it has political connotations, and in part because the naming of AAVE is more similar to how other dialects are named. It also never really caught on in academia. Using the term AAVE isn't SJW nonsense, it's an attempt to keep linguistics a non-biased science.
