r/moviescirclejerk drops all pretense of being a circlejerk sub as one star wars fag makes a thread to brainstorm ideas for an argument he is having on Twitter.......meanwhile a top mod is contemplating banning all star wars related posts.

Imagine being so emotionally invested in star wars box office, that it actually hurts your feelings when the movie underperforms.

That's a common trend among capeshitters and space capeshitters.

Kind of like those faggots that get all mad when their pet game gets mediocre reviews

Ala fallout 4 and 76

mediocre review

So only 7.5/10 fortnite dances?

Ala fallout 4 and 76

since I bought my PS4 slim more than half of my error log is because of that piece of shit 76.

If that fucking game was a car Ralph Nader would be leading a angry mob to burn the factory down like it was a Mary Shelley book.

last night it blue screened my PS4 3 times in 20mins, just sitting in my base looking at my cool shit, It finally worked then the server went down because someone crashed it on purpose to duplicate their items.

They literally copy pasted so hard Dogs drop Dogmeat armor

Thought this was an r/games. Post

Anyways yikes at playing modern games

I just play oldies

Are we still imagining things? 🤔

That fandom somehow survived the prequels and the decade-long death gurgle of LucasArts, it has to be pathological by now

Nerds secretly like it when a fandom starts to lose mass appeal. Once the normies leave the True Fans are left alone. They get to brag to each other how loyal they really are to their obsession.

It’s like being a sports fan during a dark period but still falling the team while a lot of people live their life

I feel personally attacked

To this day I believe that the goal of every obsessive fan is to ruin what they obsess over until they're the only one left who likes it, so they can "win" the Who Loves it Most contest.

You see this shit all the time with MAH VIDEO GAMES.

People know the constant circle jerk about Witcher 3 drives people away. That is the point. Its also why you see losers play wow 24/7 and go on multi-year long hate fests of the game and how terrible it is.

They desperately want everyone else to quit so they can win.

The problem is the Star Wars fandom is 100% normie, take that away and there's nothing.

True. You still have the turbonerds who dress up and go to conventions and collect all the toys though. I knew a guy who invented a whole new character to fit into the storylines. Spend $100's, likely $1000's on his constume and everything.

I don't get starfags, they're all way too invested in this shit, like unhealthy emotionally invested. They're even worse than weebs which is saying a lot.

Roger Ebert had something to say about this actually in this review

A lot of fans are basically fans of fandom itself. It's all about them. They have mastered the "Star Wars" or "Star Trek" universes or whatever, but their objects of veneration are useful mainly as a backdrop to their own devotion. Anyone who would camp out in a tent on the sidewalk for weeks in order to be first in line for a movie is more into camping on the sidewalk than movies.

Extreme fandom may serve as a security blanket for the socially inept, who use its extreme structure as a substitute for social skills. If you are Luke Skywalker and she is Princess Leia, you already know what to say to each other, which is so much safer than having to ad-lib it. Your fannish obsession is your beard. If you know absolutely all the trivia about your cubbyhole of pop culture, it saves you from having to know anything about anything else. That's why it's excruciatingly boring to talk to such people: They're always asking you questions they know the answer to.

But enough about my opinions; what about "Fanboys"? Its primary flaw is that it's not critical. It is a celebration of an idiotic lifestyle, and I don't think it knows it. If you want to get in a car and drive to California, fine. So do I. So did Jack Kerouac. But if your first stop involves a rumble at a "Star Trek" convention in Iowa, dude, beam your ass down to Route 66.

Your pulitzer's in the mail

I am a bot. Contact for questions

Ebert actually did win a Pulitzer ☺☺😀😀.

Perfectly succinct.

I just got fucking roasted by a dead man.

If this shit applies to you, well, you fucking deserve it

I post on /r/drama, were you expecting me to be socially ept?

Roger Ebert's rambling

fat pretentious neckbeard complains about fat pretentious neckbeards.

t. bussyblasted capeshitter 😂😂😂

t. faggot who listens to dead fat nerds for their movie opinions

somebody’s mad

a little. roger ebert is a fat egg-shaped dweeb.

so are capeshitters

hence why i also called them fat neckbeards. sorry that i upset you by insulting roger eggbert.

actually i like eggs

you're actually complimenting him

we should all aspire to be more egglike

I'm not sure he even had a neck at the end..

brings a tear to my eye

it's over for beardcels

u/MasterLawlz eternally btfo

He has good points but I think he is a bit harsh. He's probably more referring to the kind of people you saw in the Trekkies documentary, ones that let their fandom consume their whole life. One lady wore her TNG uniform to work, it was just way-way too important to her.

I went to a few conventions as a teenager, it's actually kind of fun especially if you go to panels. I went right around the time that Arkham City was coming out and got to meet Kevin Conroy, the VA for Batman, so that was extremely cool. When I was like 16 I had to do a video documentary project for school so I emailed the people running the Dallas con and got a press pass which let me in everywhere free, that was fun too. But I've never cosplayed or anything like that.

Some people definitely take it too far but that happens with everything.

he's a bit harsh

wow I definitely didn't expect King manchild Lawlz to be offended

tfw people have the NERVE TO ENJOY THINGS

REEEEEEEEEEE THIS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO FRIENDS

Guh I feel like somebody in the deviantart comments, don't ever post that again.

I grew up with SW. I'm a fan but not a fan fan. I don't own any Star Wars merch or read many of the EU books or watched any of the shows or anything like that but I've seen the OT dozens of times over. I still felt pretty insulted by TLJ. Well made movie with awful storytelling that was kind of a giant middle finger to Star Wars and it's fans. I dunno.

Everyone underestimates the power of myth.

Entire nations have literally gone to war over myth.

Star Wars is modern day myth.

It's not surprising so many people are so invested in it.

Remember all those Avatar fans that got suicidal because Pandora wasn't real? And how some of them thought they'd 'reincarnate' as a Naavi after their death? Yeah that was just 1 movie.

Star Wars is a motherfucking cultural icon.

Movies are modern myth. Just as powerful.

I remember a time when I was obsessed with Star Wars and Superheroes. The thing was that I was 7 years old at the time, that was normal, I didn't know anything else, and my teenage years began with super gritty entertainment that started with Cowboy Bebop and ended in Berserk.

Even being some average teenager, I had no idea I was more mature in comparison to someone.

I'm unhealthy obsessed with varies pieces of media but even I'm above being in the Star Cult. Like, I get being eccentric about Star Trek because there's stuff to be into.

But Star Wars? Whole thing boils down to "Space Wizards vs Space Nazis". It's honestly one of the shittiest moral backdrops I've seen in a movie. I get it's just supposed to be a stupid action movie and not exactly the ethics debate of the century but it really pushes it.

There's so many good sci-fi movies out there where stuff actually happens but for some reason this generic garble is now considered the God of movies.

It's even more funny because moviescirclejerk is suposed to be making fun of that type of nonsense.

the jerker has become the jerkee

akychyually, in a circle jerk everyone is both jerker and jerkee

That sub at one point had lots of oc content that actually made fun of dumb shit r/movies, r/truefilm and r/moviedetails were known for.

After last jedi, you can just notice a severe influx of r/starwars users who jumped at the movie's expense. It's funny that now those braindead mods want to change it up after a year of their sub being mainly an offbrand of r/starwars whiteknights.

it legitimately made me happy when Solo bombed tbh I really never thought I would see the day

In general I like to see Disney fail. They have a seriously unhealthy level of domination in the movie industry, especially with the Fox deal.

Yeah that’s my mentality too

Plus when was the last time Disney made a great movie in live action? Like EVER? They’ve made some great movies in animation but they their live action films are always decent at best with literally like three exceptions in the last 60 years.

Plus when was the last time Disney made a great movie in live action? Like EVER?

Don't they own Marvel

I mean I know you are a pleb who doesn't know that Disney owns the greatest of Live Action

Theater

I kinda liked Solo tbh, kinda one of those "guilty pleasure" movies for me.

A movie performing well in regards of income does not make it a good movie. I am yet to see anybody actually call the movie a piece of shit because it "flopped" in the box office. Its a strawman made up by the idiots praising it as a perfect movie.

These people might even than SRDines, and that's quite something.

These people might even than SRDines,

Smugger than Srdines? Saltier than SRDines? Dumber than SRDines?

What is it bruh? Don't leave us hanging.

Yes

All of the above. The only people who are worse are circlebrokers and those who reply to comment by saying " eh, insert opposite opinion". SRDines should be canned, the other two should be skinned alive.

SRDines CANCELLED

"Canned" and "cancelled" start with the same three letters

Coincidence? No

those who reply to comment by saying " eh, insert opposite opinion".

eh, I think those are pretty cool guys actually

Ill cut your nuts off and feed them to you.

eh, you probably won't.

Eh, I'll shove my hog in your little chud-hole and shred it to pieces.

Are you unable to even?

It's a shame because it was once a great sub. It's been taken over by legbeards who seek validation for their social failures in appropriating Star Wars from male nerds.

They were better when they were parodying the euphoria of Nolan fans.

The peak was when Interstellar was out. It was funny how many people thought completely unironically that it was the best film ever made. It was just too much.

Nolan stepped back a bit and then Marvel became the next target. Then somehow the same group of unwashed gAmER gurlz who believe culture wars to be the most important issue in progressive politics since civil rights came in. There's hints of the old days but its just another sub talking about women in media all of the time.

That sub used to have film buff/leftist types who knew better than to write essays for assembly line produced corporate toy commercials. Then it was slowly taken over by capeshitters who brought in the name of posting circlejerks brought their company wars stuff. I think the /uj/ /rj/ serious posting but still there was occasionally funny stuff.

Now the combo of idol types and star wars fans made it massive COPE meant to defend one of the niggers franchises of all time held by the biggest least creative studio in America.

That sub used to have film buff/leftist types who knew better than to write essays for assembly line produced corporate toy commercials.

But biggest of the leftist type twitter buffs (your Lindsay Ellises and such) literally all do this. I'm confused what your point is.

But all the biggest of the leftist type film buffs (your Lindsay Ellises and such) literally all do this. I'm confused what your point is.

The leftist types who were initially at mcj loathed Disney and weren't "fanboys". Usually mocked people writing essays for capeshit.

I guess it depends there are some leftists to whom idpol is bigger than corporate hatred.

I thought it was a neat movie, with good effects and shit. but I also didn't have a religious experience when catwoman was like, "oh man love travels at the speed of time" or whatever

It was an enjoyable movie actually. The dialogue was a bit too cheesy in parts, other than that I would say it's better than most blockbusters that come out each year.

that exact description is how I feel about most of the Nolan movies

light, easy fun. he's good at developing a compelling story and giving a movie a unique style. those two things are like 90% of making a quality movie

Even Nolan describes himself as commercial filmmaker whose guiding principle is reaching a wide audience. It's his fans who give him a bad rep.

yup.

I like a lot of things where the fans fuck it all up. it's a shame

Its probably one of my least favorite Nolan movies, but I still enjoyed it. Dunkirk is the best movie he has done this decade imo, partly because he abandoned exposition.

I haven't seen many directors who take criticisms to heart and successfully rectify it in their subsequent movies.

I liked his show-don't-tell strategy and how he used it to advance the plot. I got so used the near-silence on the mole that I genuinely didn't notice that one of the main characters hadn't said a word the entire movie until the One Direction guy pointed it out. Pretty cool.

I'm not going to hunt down all the comments of people saying it was the best movie they've ever seen but that sentiment was all over the place. It was a decent film but it liked the smell of its own farts. It's not the Citizen Kane some spergs think it is.

It was aiight, but just super up it's own ass.

Then somehow the same group of unwashed gAmER gurlz who believe culture wars to be the most important issue in progressive politics since the Civil Rights Act came in.

Don't kid yourself. These are mostly men. Remember how "manbaby" used to be a word people used? This is what those guys evolved into: crying online about how fucking Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Comic Books are the greatest human achievements of all time. I can't even comprehend the type of person who literally just can't even entertain the idea that they're mild entertainment.

I'm actually surprised to see some introspection from the posters in that second thread:

So right now mcj is 80% bigoted toxic fanboy posts and 19% posts about comic book movie zealots. It's like we don't even pay attention to r/movies anymore.

that's the crux of the problem. mcj has always been kind of smug and annoying, but at its best, it held up a mirror specifically to /r/movies. That way, anyone taking part in the sub had to mock whatever came from there, and there was no picking and choosing. Now the sub is just "any movie related discourse I don't like", from anywhere on the internet. There is very little content there that doesn't come from a very angry person with a bone to pick. I miss the days when we would just make fun of /r/movies for overusing the word "meticulous" like this one I made

It's been a demographic switch. At one time it was actual film nerd types demolishing the pseudo-knowledgeable tripe that passed for discussion on r/movies.

Now its just another sub reaming muh toxic male nerd culture, comprised of legbeards who derive their identity from art originally constructed for the misogynistic male nerds they so deride.

yeah exactly when /u/Fletchdoesnotlive was still kicking the sub was very much a place for light discussion with people who really knew there stuff. One of the biggest critiques at the time was the "I can't watch anything from before 1990" jerk on /r/movies.

I know more about movies than almost anyone I have met irl, aside from film professors, but there used to be dozens of people on mcj who absolutely put me to shame. Fletch must have not had a life because he seemingly knew everything. Now the sub never talks about anything besides Disney tentpoles.

What happened to that guy?

I have no idea, you'd think he would have had some kind of sendoff

MCJ has completelty lived up to its name.

Similar to what the other guy said maybe we can get a low hanging fruit thread like on r/ShitRedditSays for TLJ content? I don’t mind them occasionally but i agree that they got out of hand

The fact that they nonchalantly look to srs for cues speaks volumes lol.

I miss when the most controversial thing about Star Wars was whether or not C-3PO was gay or not.

Wait is he or not. I gotta know

Well he's a dick, and you are what you eat

Didnt he get a red arm for the explicit purpose of fisting Leia?

Then he’s not gay

Ive yet to meet a person in real life who liked TLJ.

I didnt mind it. It was Star Wars movie. I enjoy everything else about Star Wars more than the actual movies, so what do I know.

It was Star Wars movie.

?

I cosplay ESL on the internet

ESL

?

Elderly Spanish Lesbians. 😋

Do you prefer Elderly because they're more your age or because they treat retards kindly?

Porque no los dos?

I get what you mean the lamest thing about star wars is the movies to me

The games, the lore, the toys, all that shit has been awesome for 30+ years to me. The movies? Eh.

toys 30+ years

You have to be larping as king of the autismos

Got eem.

I agree, well meme'd. OTOH, you are named after a Khajit.

ACKSCHULLY.

Jzargo’s Helper implies I’m the dragon born. Dovahkiin helps Jzargo the khajiit perfect one of his spell scrolls. So no I’m not named after a khajiit I’m named after the main character of one of the most lore rich and beautiful games ever crafted.

But imagine knowing what a Khajiit is lmao you must be one of them gaymer fags I keep hearing about

Btw this is me at maximum cope, I truly cannot believe you’ve done this to me.

Oh alright. You might not be the DB, you could be on a Non-DB playthrough. But I'll let it slide.

It had some cool moments but overall I thought it was a serious waste of the storylines they set up in TFA.

I didn't particularly find the story lines they set up in tfa that compelling (mainly reys parents and generic evil sith dude) so I was glad they scrapped them

The problem is that they didn't replace them with anything. The goal of subversion is to replace an expected outcome with a greater one. Rian replaced every plot thread TFA set up with absolutely nothing.

The problem is that they didn't replace them with anything. The goal of subversion is to replace an expected outcome with a greater one. Rian replaced every plot thread TFA set up with absolutely nothing.

That's only a problem if you cared about those plot threads to begin with.

They weren't anything special, but at least it was something to build upon

Except now there's no plot threads. There's no reason to go see Ep 9.

You mean for you there's no reason? Because imma watch it because it's star wars and I liked the last two movies. It's not like anybody needed dangling plot threads to watch TFA, lmao

Except it's the third act of a trilogy. There's nothing left to continue on.

So then don't watch it then? Im not sure what the logic is for trying to convince me I don't have a reason to watch it when I do, but ok

I don't plan on it. You're welcome to keep supporting bad story telling but I'm not going to. Haven't seen Solo yet.

Then why are trying to tell us something we like is bad (it’s objectively not) if you don’t give a shit?

From a story telling point it is bad. It looks nice, sounds nice and I think the actors did a good job. But the plot is riddled with holes, has a ton of dead weight, is a mess tonally and has baffling character choices.

If that's what you want to see, you'll see it, but I'm not about to spend hours debating this online. I'll defer to the expert opinion of critics.

Critics aren't always right. Judging from the disconnect between critic and audience scores, this might be one of those times.

I’d say it’s more likely that Star Wars is the sort of thing that people hold really dear to them and no matter what happened there would be many people who would respond poorly and negatively. The good thing about art is that people can interpret things differently and experience it however they want.

What do you think is more likely? That a bunch of critics are all wrong or a bunch of fanboys are mad that Luke wasn’t a flawless hero and they’re taking out their frustrations by latching on to half assed claims about narrative flaws? It’s pretty clearly the latter.

No one wanted Luke to be a flawless hero but his character was written so poorly in TLJ. In ROTJ he thought his father, one of the most evil men in the galaxy, could be redeemed so he infiltrated the death star to save him. Then he thought his nephew might be going to the dark side so he tried to murder him in his sleep. Then he saw bottomless power in Rey and her predilection to the dark side and decided to train her anyways? What the fuck writing is that?

What’s wrong with that? You expect him to never change or have moments of weakness? Or fear? Or anger? That’s completely in line with his character. He was always immature. He always made mistakes. You think Rey is a Mary Sue because she “has no flaws” but Luke shows a completely reasonable lapse of judgement and you’re crucifying the writing? In the end, he refused to fight his nephew and saving the resistance by throwing his lightsaber away. Exactly like he did in ROTJ. How the fuck is that anything but masterful treatment of his character?

Because Luke got to where he was through trials and tribulations. He started off a naive farm boy, trained really hard, had his nadir in Empire and overcame his hardships and became a Jedi master in ROTJ. He had his character arc. Why did that all get thrown away again? Even Mark Hamill completely disagreed with the direction they took Luke.

Rey hasn't changed at all. She's no different now than she was at the beginning of TFA. She's somehow a master pilot even though she's never left the planet, a master swordsman though she's never held a light saber, and a master force user even though she's never had any training.

Shes not a master at anything. Are we watching the same movie? She struggles throughout.

Mark Hamill initially disagreed and now admits he was completely wrong. If he had his character arc, what were they supposed to do with him? The fact that he wasn’t just another Yoda is exactly what’s right with the movie.

She lifted up a ton of rocks with her mind after swinging her sword for a couple minutes lol

Yea ok

O B J E C T I V E L Y B A D

No one's trying to convince you, you mong. In fact, you could neck yourself right now and I bet nobody would care.

It’s much more about the individual characters now than the conflict as a whole. I find everything about Rey/Kylo/Luke/Leia’s relationships with each other incredibly interesting and I’m excited to see where it goes. It’s much harder to be cliche and predictable now and I find that exciting.

Except Luke is dead, Leia is going to be written out, and the Kylo and Rey dynamic would have been more interesting if Rey wasn't such a Mary Sue and/or she actually joined with him at the end of TLJ. That would have actually subverted my expectations. She's already beaten him twice in combat, so where's the tension going to come from?

Luke and Leia are both going to be involved in the story, Rey isn’t a Mary Sue (we settled that debate years ago), and I think it’s clear there was emotional tension between them both throughout the movie. I’m sure you won’t like IX since you already have your mind made up, but I’m excited for it.

I must have been absent when we cleared up the Mary Sue angle, why isn't she a Mary Sue? She learned to use the force over night, beat Kylo in a duel when she never even held a light saber previously and has not progressed whatsoever as a character.

Something about Kylo being injured from Chewie's bowcaster before the duel

Wasn't it set up at one point that pain makes Siths stronger?

I know for years the Starwars nerds argued about how Mary suey luke's hot ginger wife was and she's 1/10 the mary sue rei is

The Rey/Luke/Kylo storyline in TLA was almost really good, but they fucked it up at the end. The other two storylines belong in the trash.

Yeah that's pretty much my take, too.

I only know one person who doesn't like it

i know ur mom

I watched it and it felt I was watching some sort of high-budget parody of star wars. Who the fuck watches shit like that and likes it.

i've met 1.

this person's political views are extreme left though so it was no surprise to me. They latched onto the movie as some sort of validation of their political choices. As if to say, see! star wars is woke so everyone else should be too!

I personally didn't really see much wokeness in the new star wars tbh, not as much as people on opposite sides of the horseshoe did. Mostly it was just a bad movie to me.

Imagine being so incapable of original thought that you need shit tier sci fi action movies to validate your opinions.

I liked it but then again I hated TFA and possibly not a real person.

I liked it better than TFA because it tried to be it's own story. Except for the casino planet. I just pretend that's not there. But I thought it was a well done film, best Disney starwars film to come out. Rouge one skipped out on character development and I can't remember any of it. And solo was just bad.

It's own story is one thing, a completely incoherent story is another.

I mean, I keep hearing that the story was incoherent, but when I watched it everything made sense to me. Except the majority of the gambling planet shit. That was. Something else.

Incoherent from a film perspective. Not a basic comprehension perspective.

What does that even mean.

Just because the plot flows with the bare minimum of logic doesn't mean that they didn't hack together the separate sideplots with little thought put into presentation or audience experience.

I enjoyed it and the film kept me on edge. Not sure what you're talking about.

The fact that the film runs with a parallel + chain of errors plot style more appropriate for a comedy like The Rat Race rather than a hero-focused style? The fact that the entire casino planet was everything wrong with the prequels taken up to 11 (which also serves to make the rest of the movie look good?)

Scratch that. The point is that unlike every other movie in the franchise, absolutely nothing new is learned. The plot basically didn't develop, period. The Rebellion lost all its nameless members and Snoke got replaced with no visible impact on the First Order, that's literally it.

You're acting like there's any logic to the world of the past three star wars films. The rebellion being tiny to begin with was nonsense, the first order being bigger than the empire was is nonsense, and invalidates the original trilogy. Snoke was gearing up to be a boring fucking parallel to palatine and wasn't going anywhere interesting. It's okay for a character not to pan out how you'd think they would, which in this case, would literally be a retelling of the original trilogy. You know, better movies you've already seen. 100% of Solo was filler. Rouge one was full of non-characters that made the movie wholly forgettable. TFA was literally just worse episode 4, and they went as far as to throw out everything accomplished at the end of the original trilogy in order to recreate episode 4's setting. The first order is nonsense. The nu-rebellion is nonsense. Snoke and Rey's parents were literally just more of JJ Abrams' hack director "Mystery Boxes" which he throws in his movies at the cost of the sequels. TLJ was the only enjoyable movie of the last 4 star wars films.

The problem was that the TLJ didn't fix any of TFA's plot craters, just made them worse.

I mean you can't fix a nonsense setting like that, it did it's best by simply obliterating the bullshit.

...Which TLJ didn't do. Like I said, none of the main characters save Snoke died and the situation did not change. Even Leia is still alive FFS.

A super slow space chase kept you on edge?

I actually have only met one person that didn’t like it. I didn’t like it at first but it’s grown on me and I’m able to look past what I didn’t like. I’ve always been a characters guy and less about lore and stuff, though.

so the fact that the story line made zero sense didnt bother you?

Made enough sense to me, but I don’t really care if it didn’t.

the neckbeards are in a fucking tizzy over this movie because it had the audacity to feature a black dude and an asian lady

it's been like three years and they're still screeching about it. surely their voice matter to someone...?

This shitty excuse of a sub laughs at cirklejerks and how people care too much about Star Wars, but then it's comment section is just /r/saltierthancrait 2 where they try to point out flaws about the movie and downvote and come at you if you say you liked it.

I liked it but mainly because TFA was nostalgia dogshit

I have fallen asleep in all 3 attempts to watch it

I turned it off after a couple minutes. Starts out with Austin Powers prank calling Dr. Evil gag then pew pew space lasers. I wanted to like it too.

I kinda liked it but the Leia thing just ruined it for me. Sucked me entirely out of the movie. Here I thought we were gonna have some poignant moment and a legit sad end to a character and a real Empire feel of the mid movie being about loss and then...that.

The rest was ok but. Goodness. I was totally sucked out of it at that point.

Ive yet to meet a person in real life who liked TLJ.

Imagine being a star wars fag

I did but I'm a massive contrarian and I've only watched episodes 4,5 and 7.

I thought it was shit, but at least better than TFA by quite a bit.

IMO the mod should ban everything except star wars crap.

I got banned for mentioning the Game Stop Ma'am meme.

What did you say exactly?

Sir, this is a Game Stop

That was literally it.

That is definitely not worth a ban, in my opinion.

Goddamn there’s so much delicious 😋 cope in that thread

I would like to reiterate that these films are made for children and young adults

there's nothing wrong with enjoying them, but any adult man who has a hard and fast opinion about vidya, star wars, or capeshit should unironically be sterilized

at this point they are mainly made for manchildren,as is all media that's cashing in on nostalgia wankery.

RIP Mike Stoklasa's balls.

It's a sub that just defends all movies that are pro black people or feminism. Nothing else. It gets tiresome after a while because they will even defend awful movies just because they are pro either one of these topics. That's too much. It's fine that you circlejerk but don't become an ad for crappy movies.

What crappy movie have we defended?

Name any popular movie about black people causes or feminism.

😂😂😂😱😱😱😱🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️

tfw you need to link your own comment to mcj for validation

I only need validation through you baby please rekt me with facts and logic please daddy 😤😤😤

post bussy

I’m upvoting your comment cause I have no idea what the fuck your on about but I agree bud

You guys ever defend Sorry For Bothering You?

Sorry to bother you is pro labor

Commented. Will get 100 downvotes very soon which also will mean that they did see my comment so I'm happy. That sub is more left than even r/politics so they really can't say anything against any of my critique. It's 100% true that they are stringent defenders of huge blockbuster movies just because they have a black guy or woman in the leading role.

The other side tried to boycott the new Mad Max for having a woman in the leading role so it goes both ways.

What? That didn't happen. Mad Max didn't even have a female lead.

That 5 separate articles on a single guy with 7k Twitter followers? This creep. That is the "other side"?

It course some people did it. On Twitter you can always find some kind of protest against any kind of thing.

mcj should stick to Malick-posting.

Their css is fucking GARBAGE on mobile

cause you aren't viewing it as it was meant to be viewed.

You're supposed to see it on IMAX 3D.

>3D

you were so close but then you blew it.

TLJ will never come close to the amount of shit the prequels got. Yet because the sperg outs on twitter by its butthurt director and WOMAN producer, they somehow feel the need to constantly defend its hallowed name. But that sub is totally having fun btw haha.

brainstorm ideas for an argument

LOL you weren't even joking, he didn't even post his own witty response. Take heed of mcj kids, its the ultimate fate of circlejerk subs.

Same is happening here. Lefties are taking over.

Imagine being so emotionally invested in star wars, that it actually hurts your feelings when the movie includes women, and you run off to join KiA and wage war on Disney whilst secretly seeing it seventeen times in theatres.

😴😴😴

💤💤💤

GIGA YIKES

Is that a new Fortnite dance?

Another “circlejerk” sub descends into serious posting and a rustled userbase. Shocking.

No, I will not. As a member of the sub, I will all I can to shit on whoever talks crap about TLJ. Let me guess? You’re just another creep from STC. How about you screw off and be toxic else where. I swear to god, man babies like you get me fucking sick.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think you're confusing this subreddit with something else. This sub wasn't made to defend TLJ

oh my word, they're beginning to realize

yeeeeesh

Weren't you a regular a while back?

I am still but this is pathetic even for my low standards.Besides I mostly stay for /r/movies related stuff and this was twitter so kinda boring for me.I only come for Zaddy.

Like all circlejerk subs it gets boring after the first 2 weeks since you start seeing the same posts again every day. Tlj shills are all soyboys

Bahahaha your exactly the type of person we make fun of. Who the fuck in ironically says “soy boy” or “shill”

^ Found the Soyshill.

u r a soyshillboy

why are these people so condescending?

No (and I cannot stress this enough) U

How many of these nerds jerking over millionaires making millions of dollars are literal communists.

Quite a lot actually. Some chapo posters in there.

I got banned a long time ago for calling someone a faggot. I had only just starting posting there for a few days, too.

On weekends when my dysphoria isn't acting up I go into gamestops kicking down merch tables and talking about how the new star battles movie with trannies beats the prequels by a landslide. Gets those minimum wage nerds all riled up.

What are you on about big fucking guy

MA'AM MOTHER FUCKER! MA'AM!

Who cares

Lets go outside I will show you a fucking sir. What is your corporate number for your minimum wage job?

-circlejerk subs end up becoming their own circlejerk. No news.

The title of the post calls somebody a “Star Wars fag” .... the people that post on this sub have such an intellectual vocabulary.

Thank you for recognizing my superior intelligence

Your welcome

There's a comment that says "TLJ shills are soyboys". I didn't expect a sub named /r/Drama would be a cesspool like this.

It's over for Spacekino-cels.

OP is chapo faggots

YIKES

Hey I'm in this post and got upvotes and a reply from op.

Saw that reply but mcj is lost unless the mod actually goes through with banning all space shitters.
