I mean Jesus Christ, there was one shot in the movie of her just laying in bed with her feet exposed and they got a close-up. It served literally no purpose whatsoever other than to give QT fap material. I'm not even sure if there were any other scenes that took place in that same room. It's entirely possible that they had to schedule, cater, and fully set-up that scene knowing full well it was only in the movie because their director couldn't control his fetishes. Nah, I thought it was good. It definitely drug a bit in the middle though so I think it should have been 15 minutes shorter.
My friend I saw it with had no idea who Sharon Tate or Charles Manson were though so I think that hurt a lot of his enjoyment. You don’t need to know much about them but if you don’t at least know the basics then it would kill a lot of tension in some of the scenes. The best part is when Brad Pitt went to Manson’s ranch, it played out like some kind of horror movie.

Polanski was barely in it though. That was for the best because I still don’t know if Tarantino supports him or not (he defended him before but apologized since then). For that matter, I think Manson himself was only in one brief scene.
