I was reading about the comic online. Apparently there’s one superhero that has twelve sidekicks like Robin and he molests all of them. It’s edgy for the sake of being edgy.
Preacher and Punisher were dope, you can't deny that. I've read some of his Constantine comics. I'm not familiar with the character but I liked it a lot.
In my mind he's one of the greats, his constant edge puts him behind Moore, Gaiman, Ellis. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone.
Literally any Hellblazer comic from before the DC acquisition is great. DC really fucked up Constantine. The stories they have for him read like they were written by a twelve year old who only just found out about the comics.

The story is alright, for being derivative of the zombie / the crazies genre, but it has some memorable and definitely horrible moments.
I love The Boys but I can see where you're coming from. I steered clear of the show because I read online that they don't get superpowers, which is a shame. Same with Preacher, why would they take an established and succesfull miniseries plot and change it is beyond me.
I also dislike The Watchmen movie for the same reason
One problem is that the Comic Boys are basically superheroes, so instead of humans v superheroes it becomes superheroes vs superheroes. That's not necessarily bad, but it undermines the anti-capeshit message. The Comic Boys don't really struggle with any supe except the Homelander, so there's like no tension
Tension doesn't come from confrontation but from the politics. The supes can rape, murder and maim freely and the government turns a blind eye. I don't know if you've read it to the end but the finale is all about that.
The real villain in all of that is the corporation and the VP that goes to the meetings. I forget his name.
I'd argue is even worse than supes vs supes. Hughie basically could rip apart almost everyone they meet from day one - and he actually does in the first fight. It made superpowers not boring for once, as they felt like actual superhumans.

When I see people posting about not receiving their unemployment yet, or the federal boost to it, I'm reminded of the feeling you have when the government is a sole provider of something you need, and how powerless you are to make anyone care or even give you an update.

The most I ever spent in one was 2.5 hours, and this was in the middle of chicago on a saturday, there were probably ~600 people to about 20 dmv workers, i really don't know how it could have been faster.

Disney+ and Prime are not human rights and you can live comfortably without them while still having plemty of other sources of entertainment and avenues for purchasing things.
Don’t complain about billionaires getting richer when you’re the one who funds them. Buy books and movies from a locally owned businesses, grow your own food (no, you do not need a yard, get a planter), cook your own food, don’t buy expensive stuff when the cheaper stuff works just as well and just stop spending money needlessly in general.

You said that taking these measures to avoid funding institutions lead by very wealthy people are useless, because “they don’t get rich because of their individual contributions”. You instead choose to make no effort, and assuming you think you are moral, it means that you think it is okay when you do it.
Also i never put the blame on individuals, just like i don't put the burden of the environment on individuals. The burden of the environment, just like the burden of slave labour, can only be cured by the people that caused it in the first place. They don't let C@utists form hugboxes, but don't outright account/IP ban them, so they have to roam Reddit, jump from sub to sub, get fucked in every single one of them until they get kicked out of 109, eventually. And if they do manage to take over a sub, chadmins just ban it and the cycle starts over.

How would you weaponize it? I'd assume it's proportional to subreddit's overall size, so you won't be able to take down any big sub. It probably doesn't affect older subreddits either, otherwise I could easily see Deux getting axed. And lastly, you can still appeal and get the sub reinstated, like LoveForLandlords was.
Best you'd do is annoy some people jannying small subs.
They started doing this because a former O&A fan sub was banned for "harassment", so they created a system that when their next subreddit was banned they would immediately move to another one and continue their "harassment". They did this for weeks.
Sent messages to the admins at ModSupport and r/reddit.com so far, no response yet. Multiple ModSupport posts got removed. Not sure what I should do next. LoveForLandlords was back up in 4 hours. Maybe it would help if more people messaged the admins?

If this is your view on the matter then it's awfully simplistic. Even if you live a life of financial celibacy till the sun rises from the west, the billionaire will still get richer, the billionaires don't get rich because of your individual contributions, but because of the current systems in place that allow them to continue getting richer without checks in place. For God's sake, some corporations straight out reach bankruptcy and they still get bailed out, you think individual efforts will do shit? Also, you're still paying taxes which fund the military, which nullify every good you think you might've achieved by blocking a few dollars of yours from reaching walmart. No real change is going to come about by these dull-bladed methods of protest. It seems Reddit has, for a while, been banning subs automatically if a large amount of people who have been active on previously banned subs join it or comment on it.
LFL and all the other offshoots have a fair amount of consumeproduct and smuggies posters, who have probably been active in CA, frenworld and others, and them subscribing practically gets the sub autobanned.
Oh and some people's subs seem to get instadeleted - not sure if their account is specifically being targeted or it just relates to what I said above and any sub they make gets instapopulated by the undesirables.

How would you weaponize it? I'd assume it's proportional to subreddit's overall size, so you won't be able to take down any big sub. It probably doesn't affect older subreddits either, otherwise I could easily see Deux getting axed. And lastly, you can still appeal and get the sub reinstated, like LoveForLandlords was.
