The important places are under Russian control so by this guy logic Ukraine needs to push Russia out and now that's impossible

Only Redditors can create fantasies about Russian running away from Crimea.

Even Zelenskyy is not delusional about capturing Donbas and was aiming at Crimea (also stupid idea since Russia just will use nukes to protect this). Donetsk is like giga fortress at this point it's like mega Avdiivka and it took Russian over 100k soldiers to take it so to take Donetsk Ukraine would need millions soldiers and it just ain't going to happen

That Yermak was the most powerful man in Ukraine was known like forever

Times included him in most powerful people list but didn't included Zelenskyy

This was posted by an western media

At a Nato airbase in Belgium, President Zelensky celebrated his greatest achievement by greeting five of Ukraine's new F-16 pilots. Looming over his shoulder, carefully positioned for the cameras last week, appeared the man who represents his greatest flaw.

But here is the problem. Again media tries to whitewash Zelenskyy and say it's all Yermak fault

As Zelensky's first elected term drew to a close, senior government, military, law enforcement and diplomatic sources, many of whom requested anonymity, expressed alarm at his growing dependence on Andriy Yermak, his chief of staff, who is accused of amassing personal power and usurping democratic processes.

Like how can dependence grow if Yermak was the one who basically elected Zelenskyy and Zelenskyy was listening to him before he became a president ?

Some sources went so far as to describe him as the “de facto head of state” or “Ukraine's vice-president” in a series of interviews.

https://media.giphy.com/media/7ziO8WTeXJCGZlq4mm/giphy.webp

Diplomatic sources complained that he exercised complete control over access to the president, with G7 ambassadors who hoped for an audience presented with Yermak instead.

As “the times” pointed he is the most important man in khoholstan

from Yermak's direct but efficient management style, pointing to his success in initiatives that include corralling international partners into a peace summit in Switzerland next week.

Legendary peace summit that is already a failure before it started :marseywholesome:

Military officials, meanwhile, have accused Yermak, 52, of keeping General Valery Zaluzhny away from the president, and eventually orchestrating his dismissal as head of the armed forces in February. Yermak, they claim, considered Zaluzhny a rival to his authority.

:marseyderp:

Government insiders also blamed Yermak for the sacking of the deputy prime minister, Oleksandr Kubrakov, last month after he reported efforts by MPs in Zelensky's party to bribe him.

https://media.giphy.com/media/GpyS1lJXJYupG/giphy.webp

Imagine coming to the guy who tried to bribe you and telling that guy that his men tried to bribe you :marseybrainlet:

Both the general and the deputy prime minister, who was in charge of Ukraine's infrastructure, were widely respected for their integrity, competence and independence.

Mb that's was their fault ?

“Despite all the requests from international partners, Tatarov is still in charge of law enforcement reform, which is insane,” said Daria Kaleniuk, executive director of the Anti-Corruption Action Centre.

She noted Tatarov was investigated for bribery, adding: “Instead of dismissing him, the office of the president instructed new prosecutors to take over his case, and they closed it.”

Yermak uses Tatarov to ensure loyalty from officers in the criminal justice system, according to a senior law enforcement official.

They then gave more example of corruption and never blamed Zelenskyy :surejan: because it's all someone else fault like Yermak or Reznikov or Tatarov or Biden

Corruption has increasingly become a source of friction between the White House and Kyiv. Antony Blinken, the US secretary of state, said during his visit to Ukraine last month that Kyiv should make “sure that the fight against corruption continues at home just as the fight against Russia's aggression continues on the front lines”.

Well Ukraine has a lot greater chance beating Russia than Corruption, Zelenskyy has greater chances taking over White House and the world that corruption being defeated in Ukraine.

Last year the National Agency on Corruption Prevention found Tymoshenko had been driving a Porsche Taycan and staying free in a luxury resort, as well as abusing his power to allow subordinates to travel abroad in violation of the country's mobilisation laws. It further found he had presented forged documents aimed at concealing the offences, raising questions on how he had been given such a serious role in national security.

>Porsche Taycan

Cost like only 150k buxx neighbor is very humble

The Kremlin has sought to seize on Yermak's increased influence, allegations of corruption and the expiry of Zelensky's term of office to produce false propaganda, claiming Ukraine has become an autocracy.

FALSEEEE PROPAGANDA !!!

https://media.giphy.com/media/10UHehEC098kAE/giphy.webp

So whole article points on corruption inside Ukraine and some cases even I didn't knew, blame everything on Yermak and say Yermak has huge influence on Zelenskyy then do a 540 and call it all Russian propaganda

https://media.giphy.com/media/tfUW8mhiFk8NlJhgEh/giphy.webp

“There are no sane Ukrainian politicians who are questioning his presidential or parliamentary legitimacy. There is no safe way to hold an election

There is very safe way to hold an election. There are id card identified apps for example Ukrainian mobilisation app is like this. If gov send a message to you through this app it's consider official one. So when guys receive mobilisation invitation and don't come to mobilisation location, they can be jailed. This app can easily be used for voting but why would they do it if people start asking Zaluzhnyy to take part of the election and then wins against Zelenskyy ?

:surejan:

Even the president's most strident critics say there is still time for him to change course. “We have seen Zelensky to be quite a different president depending on who his chief of staff is,” Kaleniuk said. “His big mistake has been to entrust so much authority to Yermak, who is clearly intoxicated with power.”

This pretty much sums the message. People wants to chop Zelenskyy head because without head it will be a lot easier to get rid of Zelenskyy

Friendship in politics

Reality he is the most adequate person in Zelenskyy team, getting rid of him is GG for Zelenskyy team

@pizzashill any idea how many m777 were already send to Ukraine ? Wikipedia only gives 198 systems and those numbers are from 2022 so it would be cool to know how much Ukraine got of those ancient m777a2 from 2012 and m777ER from 2016. There are around 210 videos of m777 hit by drones and 170 with ending with big explosion (100% destroyed) and despite it all it's still the most common used artillery system in Ukraine.

Also for pizzashill:

The US fields a "pure fleet" of M777A2 variants.

So Ukraine didn't received any og “old” m777.

Kid still fetishising that Ukraine is receiving old stuff :marseyxd:

Thing is Zelenskyy legit has no legitimacy and now the only way he can prove he has legitimacy is if he calls conditions lawyers and ask them to decide if he is legal or not but cutie twink knows they will tell no because those neighbors are Porochenko neighbors and they want him go. He also still afraid of Zaluzhnyy.

:surejan:

Generally western media don't want to talk about it because telling that west support a guy that against constitution holding power or basically is a dictator won't be popular.

They also won't push this story because the only country that didn't recognise Putin as legitimate is khoholstan :marseyxd:

But next week is Zelenskyy peace summit

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17177895205682924.webp

Ukraine's demands — and the summit itself — seem a bit fanciful.

https://media.giphy.com/media/Sqfu14lSonVN219Zb6/giphy.webp

This is perhaps one reason why Biden rejected Zelensky's request to attend the June 15 meeting, opting instead to jet off to California for a celebrity-filled campaign fundraiser. Vice President Kamala Harris and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan have said they will go in Biden's stead, but the big man's absence will be hard to ignore.

https://media.giphy.com/media/P18aB31TcT7DBpkyUh/giphy.webp

Perhaps the most significant obstacle is credibility. Once-neutral Switzerland has made no secret of its desire to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine. The Swiss have largely signed onto Western sanctions and even banned Russian planes from flying over their territory — an entirely symbolic move given that the country is entirely surrounded by European Union states, which had already banned Russian overflights.

These decisions have led the Kremlin to reject the prospect of Swiss mediation, undermining the chances of any meaningful progress at the upcoming summit.

Why do they have cope like this ?

All of these indicators now paint a dismal diplomatic picture. China and Switzerland, both of which had some chance of mediating talks, are now seen as hopelessly biased toward one of the belligerents. Other potential mediators — including Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and the Vatican — have been chastened by their own attempts to convene negotiations.

I love how this article ignores that from extended BRICS+ only India will send a nobody to those talks. But it's better to focus on l'evil China

— U.S. officials now increasingly acknowledge that American and Ukrainian interests “are diverging” as Ukraine pushes for direct NATO involvement in the war, according to David Sanger of the New York Times. “At this point, Ukraine has nothing left to lose from escalating with Russia,” Sanger wrote. “Mr. Biden still does.” The administration's main concern is that Russia could use a nuclear weapon against Ukrainian troops in a bold attempt to reestablish deterrence, creating the possibility of full-scale nuclear war.

https://media.giphy.com/media/l0HlvtIPzPdt2usKs/giphy.webp

Wow for homosexual sakes who could expected this. Khohols losing hard so west played all its cards when now Russian can nuke them at wish and get nothing back. Only @pizzashill believes US will nuke back Russia for Ukraine but for some reasons I didn't found his body next to bakhmut defenders :marseyjanny2: on top of it China will only continue supporting Russia more and Yemen sell will start getting long range missiles because China needs its silk belt shit.

— France uninvited Russian officials from this week's D-Day commemorations following harsh pushback from Western allies, according to Politico. Russian President Vladimir Putin attended previous Normandy anniversaries despite tensions with the West, including a 2014 commemoration on the heels of Russia's annexation of Crimea. While Putin himself was not invited this time around, the prospect of any Russian representation was too much for many Western officials to countenance. Zelensky, for his part, will join the proceedings to highlight “how the landings resonate with the just struggle that the Ukrainian nation is waging today,” according to French officials.

Ukraine is the fastest depopulating country in the world.

Ukraine's population went down 5.8 million in 11 years.

Ukraine's population has declined by 27% from its peak.

It is pretty much guaranteed that the population of Ukraine will fall even further in the years ahead as we cannot expect anybody to be actively willing to return home unless they are deported, and for everybody to wish to leave Ukraine if the war ever ends, or for the population to keep declining if the war keeps going on.

In the long run, win or lose, Ukraine's population is guaranteed to disappear.

One can expect the entirety of Ukraine to become a militarized zone without a civilian population as there is nobody willing to move there and there will never be enough births for the population of the region to go up.

https://www.intellinews.com/ukraine-s-birth-rate-plummets-to-300-year-low-as-country-s-population-collapses-321317/

https://www.wilsoncenter.org/blog-post/ukraines-demography-second-year-full-fledged-war

The lowest estimates suggest that Ukraine's population is already down to 37 million.

The higher end count is 41 million.

Conclusion:

Ukraine will win the war but it has no future.

Ukraine today has far fewer births than even South Korea, with a comparatively similar population size.

Population collapse is guaranteed to destroy Ukraine. There is no next generation for Ukraine. All they can do is to move to the European Union.

European Union's population is going to keep increasing till 2050 with the influx of Ukrainians moving into the EU over the coming years.

All the previous predictions and numbers about decline in EU population are now wrong.

Russia will not win in Ukraine and here is why

Basic military doctrine states that the attacking force must have a ratio of 3:1 against the defending force to be able to defeat them.

Currently there are only 500,000 Russian troops fighting in Ukraine.

Meanwhile the entire Ukrainian army is busy fighting in Ukraine.

This gives the Ukrainians a clear advantage in the case of continuing to defend their lands until the Russian troops die out or lose morale and give up.

The Russians do not have the required troop advantage or military tech advantage to take over a country the size of Ukraine in an invasion.

No matter what you or anybody else wishes to believe, you cannot defeat the basic numbers on the ground at the end of the day.

Russia is going to lose this war in the end. There is no way around that.

Will the Russian economy survive the aftermath?

It is difficult to say. Currently the Russian economy is completely tied up to the Chinese economy and the Indian economy. The Indians are more than willing to continue doing business with Russia in the long term so one can expect the Russian economy to keep growing due to its trade with India and China. The real question is, are India and China enough for the Russian economy to keep growing at a rapid rate?

I would say the answer is yes. The Indian and Chinese economy together are large enough to support the Russian economy in the long term and allow it to keep growing over time.

The issue that arises for Russia is that from now on in all future agreements it has to give both China and India favorable benefits.

In the case of India, the Indian population able to freely travel to Russia is going to explode. In the case of China they are going to take over Islands and cities from Russia without consequence near the Chinese-Russia border.

https://ipdefenseforum.com/2024/03/far-east-territorial-dispute-tests-prc-russia-ties/

The other downside of the Russian invasion is that they are no longer considered western by any western government, which means now it will be impossible for the Russian people to immigrate to richer parts of the world.

The Russian people are now stuck in Russia to stagnate and die out, in some ways worse than the position of the Japanese or South Korean people today.

A weakened Russia is to the benefit of China as it increases Russia dependency on China and it's cooperation with China.

In the long run China does not develop fellow economies, it makes other economies dependent on China.

As the Chinese economic growth slows down, so would the Russian economic growth, as China would never allow a fellow partner to grow at a faster rate than itself, giving it more power over time.

In conclusion - Russia is doomed to become a Chinese vassal state and suffer the consequences.

Get the frick out of Russia if you can, especially if you're a man of military age

I think it's too late, they already got yoinked

Yeah pretty much. All the westernized/liberal young men left en masse either at the beginning of the war or when the first round of general mobilization was announced; to places such as Turkey, Georgia (the country), Thailand etc.

I love Redditors parallel universe

They somehow don't mention that 300k-500k men left and then most returned

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17176832778183665.webp

Even in 2022

https://i.rdrama.net/images/171768327856522.webp

They don't mention that even hypothetical we assume those who left never returned, that's less than 1% of men

They of course forgot that over a million Ukrainian men run away and daily many trying to run away

https://www.businessinsider.com/ukraine-catches-man-trying-leave-paddling-air-mattress-to-moldova-2024-4?amp

Now you also ain't even safe on your work place from mobilisation

And even US gov recommends khohols citizens not to go to Ukraine

It's probably closer to 600 political prisoners per prison. The entire country and their culture is the societal equivalent of Stage 4 Cancer.

Khohols literally killed a burger citizen as political prisoners and jail anyone who says something against the conflict and guess what most prisoners in Ukraine are men that refused to fight and that's why their new prisoners mobilisation basically failed

https://kyivindependent.com/ukrainian-court-releases-first-prisoners/

Og one in 2022 spring had some success but the new one doesn't

Why do some people in the west support russia anyway, contrarianism? even from a purely realpolitik stance it doesn't seem to make sense to me to be against your own interests.

from an asian

Because they have to idea what Russia is actually like

Thanks good this guy knows what Ukraine actually is and how big interest it's for European citizens to spend next 40 years rebuilding Ukraine. There is no warranty EU will even exist in 40 years. Like EU told they giving 50 billion to Ukraine for next 3 years and not even 2 months passed they gave Ukraine extra 10 and now looking how to give Ukraine even more

Khohols lost only card left to try to save them is send nato troops everything else failed

It's been like a week since I posted about great Ukrainian alternative reality counteroffensive

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17176832807612176.webp https://i.rdrama.net/images/17176832812574363.webp

As you see nothing changed and it's basically a choke point where khohols send 38k soldiers fight 14k Russian one. And if after like 4 weeks khohols weren't able to kick them out even after shooting at Russian soil that would mean they have higher loses than Russian and its logical Russia had artillery advantage and fabs

But in Reddit verse it's the other way, few brave Ukrainian hold unending amount of okrs. Like there was never a moment in this conflict when Russian out numbered khohols. Russian just doing new meat grinder bakhmut 2 in that city. Bakhmut wiped out most experienced khohols soldiers and was one of main reason why spring counteroffensive failed so hard. Now is a big difference tho since khohols sending new enlistedcels to hold Vovchansk but Russia don't mind since the goal is own the reserves.

The hole that was arrested knew very well what she did since she is only fans thot that started this months after this conflict started so she was deliberately hyping.

I'm serious. I've been following these two body-positive YouTubers for several years now. All three of us were size 12 when I started watching. 4 years later, I'm still a size 12. One of them is a size 16-18, the other is a size 20. I only noticed how big the difference is when I watched an old collab they did. The difference is HUGE.

Over the years, every video they made about not fitting into clothes in the fitting room. Or how their body is “changing” and “that's ok”. And how they have to “size up and there's nothing wrong with that”. And how “if you don't fit in clothes, it's the clothes fault. Not yours.”

Well. This is where this philosophy got them. And if they're happy with that, good for them. But I don't want that for myself. And that was the last straw for me.

If you also left those movements, what did it for you?

She got a point, a fat foid is a happy foid.

Reality is if fat shaming gets removed and guys start dating fat foids massively. Then foids will balloon even more, simple math.

Like acceptance of fats today is higher than 60 years ago and neighbors are today a lot bigger. Similar happened with slut shaming, today it's a lot softer and we get tons of slurs around not even hiding their faces and it became cool to be one.

Brutal truth shaming is a social control method:

>For public shaming to work as a method of social control, it requires recognition—by the target of shaming and those observing—that the shamers have the authority to sanction the actions of the shamed based on a set of shared norms.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17176467538050683.webp

So logic goes if fat shaming is removed than being fat gets accepted and if fat is accepted more non fat people will stop trying to keep them self fit because now there is no punishment of being fat.

Yet popular “science” says we need to stop the shaming because it doesn't help

We are steady heading to this:
