jesus fricking christ this is literally a rent check in gacha pulls. I spent $100 (one hundred dollars) on their gay currency for the one-time 2x bonus and felt physically ill for days. !gacha bros please don't become like this. For those unfamiliar, this person has pulled SEVEN DUPLICATES of this character. You can buy 50 pulls for $100, which doesn't even reach the pity rate - itself a 50/50. We're talking ~$2k.

This can be yours for only hours of your time and dodging major financial obligations, ignoring debt collectors and court serviced judgements.

For those not portuguese here, he reviewed on Xbox Series X and he says:

It's a Bethesda RPG, Bethesda didn't reinvent themselves (it isn't like Nintendo did with BOTW, so to speak), so expect a Bethesda RPG through and through

What he expected is what he got

He likes it and thinks it's a good game (which, apparently, is high praise coming from him)

He thinks Bethesda could've evolved more since their last release (in game structure and technical stuff)

30fps are stable more than 90% of the time (framedrops only on open world) and it doesn't hurt the experience

Graphics are excellent, praises even the 3D models (even the food haha) and the spaceships, the textures and lightning/reflections, the animations of objects and sound design are very good too

However, he says the special effects (like fire and explosions) aren't spectacular, acceptable only

He criticizes the facial animations of characters, says it's very weak, like "NPC says something very very emotional but its face is like dead/robotic", which can break immersion for some

The music and soundtrack is epic, beautiful and fit for the story of the game (again, he compliments the sound effects and how it all works with tandem with the great object animations, it's immersive, he gives the example of when you sit on the cockpit of your ship and you pull the mainboard, and that little pulling sound is great and immersive)

Good voice acting

Bugs/glitches/crashes? No. Zero crashes, very very little bugs that's to be expected from any polished big-butt open world game. Says sometimes he talked to an NPC and the NPC didn't turn around to you so he talked to you while you saw its back, and very little texture pop-in. He talked with other people that experienced different bugs but, again, not game-breaking or anything

Says the biomes and landscapes are really diverse, you never feel like you visited the same place again

All cities are very different from one another, praises Neon highly

Criticizes the amount of loading screens: even if they are quick, the quantity bothered him and his immersion. Enter the ship; enter in one planet, exit it, change galaxy, go to a different landing zone in one planet, many many doors (if not all), all have loading screens

You can fast travel from one planet to another you already know, no need to be on the ship, so you only have one loading screen instead of 1) enter the ship 2) travel to another system, 3) enter that planet, but he says the game doesn't explain that

Difficulty? Low (he played on the normal difficulty). Enemy and company AI? Bad.

The game lasts for about ~150 hours. He played 40 hours and finished the main story. Says the main story only path can last 20-25 hours, a bit more perhaps.

Doesn't recommend 3rd person camera to do shooting

Gunplay is good, fun, simple and effective; all weapon types are interesting, he says the game sorta "forces" you to change weapons because there isn't a lot of bullets for your favorite weapon at all times

Again, he played like "run and gun" because the enemy AI isn't good at all

Little enemy diversity, you mostly fight against humans, aliens' design is cool but, again, "run and gun"

Planets' atmosphere can cause effects on you, like too warm or too cold, but he says "nah I didn't need to modify my armor at all, the game warns you but it doesn't really affect you"

When you go over the weight limit walking consumes oxygen, says this is an unnecessary headache

There is a weight limit on your ship too, upgradable it seems, but it starts off small

Says this is bad, because there are a LOT of items, but, because of this, it forces you to only focus on weapons and healing items etc and not other miscellaneous items that COULD be interesting, but you won't be able to know because you won't prioritize it

The game doesn't have a map. You guys, the game DOESN'T HAVE A MAP. You have that galaxy map we all know ofc, but not a local map, neither on cities (what were they thinking?...) neither on explorable planets (understandable). You have a little compass on the bottom left corner only. Forgot where a specific vendor is? Good luck.

is? Good luck.

The game doesn't introduce/explain you to some of its mechanics, like persuasion in dialogue, crafting, building outposts, buy/modify ship, how to use fast travel correctly, he complains those mechanics aren't intuitive and the game should explain them, but it doesn't

Big-butt grass pop-in at 33:19 lol

"don't compare this to No Man's Sky, don't view this as a space exploration game"

Spaceships look stunning, but he didn't like the ship combat, especially at first, doesn't say why, says you can run from many fights and the main missions have very little ship combat

Says the hacking game can be a pain in the butt as you go forward, because it's always the same

There is A LOT of dialogue

Mission structures are the same you can expect: combat missions, dialogue/negotiation missions, delivery missions; he didn't feel the missions were repetitive, not because they tried different things, but because the world around it is always diverse and cool to explore

Says he has the feeling that the persuasion mechanic is sorta random and not that complex: NPC goes "no I won't do it", you use persuasion, NPC goes "ok I will do it", linear like this

The lore of this universe is deep

All the main story missions are really good, because of the quality of the stories and the world and characters around you

Two mechanics he didn't use at all: outpost building (says the game couldn't convince him to build them, didn't saw the interest in it) and crafting (it ties in on that item/weight limit problem)

He liked the skill tree progression mechanic (that thing where you have to do XYZ to upgrade a skill level, it encourages you to explore and play more)

Says the level progression takes a lot, killing NPCs doesn't give you that much XP, completing missions does

He says he didn't need to buy a weapon or armor from vendors, enemies drop constantly better loot

Companions aren't necessary too, he didn't use them a lot, again he says the game doesn't explain the advantages of having a companion properly, sounds underutilized like other mechanics he talked about

What he can say about the main story: when you touch the artifact, you travel to another dimension, you go and get more and more artifacts, amazing events keep happening, all characters add up to the story, there are cool plot twists, he liked the main story a lot, it makes you feel epic and grandeur

Conclusion: Starfield is a very good game, an epic one, despite its flaws it's impressive how it kept him playing and playing, he says the flaws kept bothering him less and less as he kept playing, 8.5/10

"wow, bideo game devs are bold in their political messaging these days" :!soyjak:

Drama

Let me guess. corporations bad, but two months of the year corporations not so bad ?

nobody thinks the thing youre saying this guy thinks

the entire point of the meme ur replying with is that corporations are shitty and toothlessly appeal to social movements if they think it'll make them more money. it was prob made by a leftist

They only do it because leftwing people eat that shit up. Rightwing people find it repulsive so it's not us throwing our money at them over a little virtue signaling.

youre thinking of liberals lmfao. liberals are right wing, actual leftists despise that shit more than you

was on the fence about this game but seeing all people in the quotes pressed about this small easily forgettable graffiti is very funny. i have to cop it now

“I was going to buy it already but let me claim otherwise to stick it to the chuds”

You anti-capitalists would literally clap at anything.

This is what it looks like when over-educated people who have lived in a mid-upper class bubble their whole lives try to write graffiti. They've never seen graffiti before so they do weird things like use full words like "organization" and write full thoughts.

basically the first 1000 players to reach level 100 on a hardcore character had their names etched onto a statue

there was some minor drama earlier because some people felt they were left off when they shouldn't have been, turns out they were naughty boys in other diablo games which made them ineligible lmao

Ubisoft locked my account name for 30 days because I tried to get it to save "arsey" in several variations to bypass the no-no word filter. :marseydepressed:

Before I go play vidya, I would like to take the time to post that I registered an Ubisoft account for Assasin's Creed Valhalla just so I can save my game in the cloud. After about 10 tries to get "arsey" in variation (because arsey is a no-no word), Ubisoft locked my account for 30 days and now I have a terrible non-fem non-passing "guest" account that I must shamefully use.

I hate game devs so frickin much. Frick you, Ubisoft.

At first I was wondering what this SoyTuber was complaining about, but the comments were quick to clarify.

envision a new world where roads and traffic and cars and roads and traffic

Noooo you can't drive! You must rely on the government or corporate monopolies to move you from place to place!

:marseysoycry:

a cool idea for a city management game would be you have to fight suburban sprawl like its a sentient miasma

:#marseybigbrain:

yaaayy more car-centric American style, dirty, capitalistic hellscape, insolvent cities with dysfunctional zoning issues!! <3<3<3

Swamp-Germam pinko foid wasn't able to balance the budget in C:S, so it's capitalism's fault.

I'm a lazyposter, but the massive sneed session is all over the place.

G*mergate 2.0 has started lmao, the journos are already collaborating, expect to see media rotation of "far-right", "conservatives" and "Nazis" in headlines over the anti-SBI shitters. PC g*mer, Kotaku and some German shitrag has already posted "Ackshually, it's a conspiracy and SBI did nothing wrong" articles. Zoe Quinn's positive review for s*x guy has posted an article as well. IT'S HAPPENING!!

So I got platinum on Dragon Dogma 2, my thoughts about the game

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17125958518347642.webp

That game is literally the most overhyped game of the year. It's main quest are worst from any fantasy games I ever played. 16 quest and 14 of those are just 5-10 min talking with NPC so the game is actually very short, I got the platinum under 40 hours so it's not some kind of massive rpg, and the game feel very long because it was boring walking in mostly woods and fighting same 3 types of enemies. But I have to give some point for game being a very Germanic fable. Like you go to a dungeon and open a chest and it shit inside like 99% of other chest in games. You do a quest some one ask you to find someone to build him a cool statue, you find him best sculpture and in the end the person ain't happy with the result so like most quest have bad endings just like germoids fables. The game doesn't have tp or detailed map because “exploration” is big part of the game and without it you probably would been able to complete the game even faster. Balance of classes is also very questionable like the game has a tanking class for player only, you do some magic with smoke to agro enemy and do illusions like fake bridges so enemy think he can walk on it. Sounds cool, my most memorable moment of the game comes from levelling that class… because it's absolutely shit, you do 0 damage and depended fully on NPC who ain't as aggressive or active as the player so fight aster forever. They made sure to balance that class so it became a total shit, like removing ability to fly like other magic class can because with flying you would been able to push enemies out of cliffs easier. Yet the game has thief class who has 2 ultimate abilities one does explosion and second ignore all damage and use stamina but with some passives you never run out of stamina so you can just spam non stop explosions and nothing in that game would be able to survive it or damage you.

So in the end the game doesn't feel like an AAA game and more like semi indi AA game with a lot of questionable design and very r-slurred world. Like the game has lover/friend system, by doing someone missions or giving that person gifts (anything can be given) that person becomes your friend or lover, game doesn't truly indicate that mechanism so by normally playing you won't see it except in very end when dragon will show the character you mostly care about (it was kek moment because it was some random NPC I resurrected twice because she would randomly die of screen because game has very smart AI and I needed her alive for a quest)

So the game is solid 6/10 and not 86% metacrtic. It's not bad game it has it charm and quirks but it's not mega blockbuster and not a good example of its genre.

It’s a failed reboot of front mission (actually a good series) about mechas but in this game it’s interesting that the game is set in fictional Kiev and they did good job giving the feeling of Kiev (old Soviet street) and there is war between west and east Ukraine. Plot is shit, you never truly will understand what’s is happening. But the game play is so bad that it’s becoming good like the ai is so op that the game on any difficulty (before patch) feel like truly survive game like if enemy spot you, you dead the enemies are faster than you jump higher than you and you need a whole mag of headshots to kill a enemy while he need just one spray to kill you. So the only way to take out enemy is using melee weapon that are breakable, it will silently take out the enemy for 3 minutes. The game also has terrible checkpoints so you need to be extra careful and hoping that it won’t save on a bad moment. So with the gameplay you are always frustrated because it’s such a butt and enemy are very op. But clearing missions and saving all survivors feels very rewarding. The way Japanese view Ukraine is also funny like big chunk of plot is about baseball like I doubt any country in Europe even like baseball. The game I believe has like 3/10 on metacritic so it undeniable going to give you a unique experience and it’s one of few games I remember well platining

FRICK THIS GAME!!!

I bought hunter COTW and all the dlcs a few days ago and I fricking hate this game. In the screenshot you see the post-harvest analysis of a wild boar. I stalked this boar for 20 irl minutes across a valley to line up a perfect shot (the bullet trajectory highlighted in the screenshot), only for the game to decide a .308 WASN'T ENOUGH to penetrate boar skin. What should've cleanly hit the top of his heart, instead left a small scratch on his chest. So I panicked and shot him again as he turned and ran, hitting him in the gut. I then had to follow his blood trail for another 10 irl minutes to harvest the kill.

Immediately after this incident I massacred a herd of sheep and was ambushed by a pack of wolves immediately after. Idk if that's a game mechanic to punish you for slaughtering entire herds, or if wolf packs are attracted by carcasses. Probably neither and I just got lucky. Wolves in this game are fricking r-slurred and just sit there growling at you at point blank for 20 seconds before attacking. When they do attack they just run at you in a straight line and have a cooldown time before they can charge again, so you can just jump out of the way and shoot them. I killed the entire pack mercilessly.

Apparently this game also thinks shooting a bobcat between the eyes at 15 yards with .22lr won't kill it. That was probably the most annoying but I didn't take a screenshot to b-word about it with.

All of that being said, I headshot a red deer charging me with a 10mm and its body did a funny flip. So 10/10 will dump 1,000+ hours into this game.
