not really, the palestinian cause is closer to victory today now than ever.

Lets look at the facts:

1- israel failed to achieve its military objectives in gaza

2- israel is failing to achieve its military objectives in the north

3- israel's economy is suffering hard from this war

4- The axis of resistance is now more united than ever against israel

5- Israel is increasingly going down the path of a Pariah state, with a case against it in the ICJ and arrest warrants issued by the ICC against its Prime Minister and Defense Minister soon, Turkey stopping trade altogether etc.

6- We have western countries recognizing Palestine increasingly

7- Palestine's member status at the UN being upgraded and its full membership being discussed.

I am willing to debate on any of these points here, but its clear that israel's very existence threatened and this is not sustainable, furthermore I see no solutions or way to return to the previous status quo, its only getting worse from here. In essence its a strategic victory for Palestine, even though there is a huge cost in lives.

Thats true but I can see a full scale war coming if israel doesnt stop its agression on gaza and that will make things even worse for israel. In fact the only way israel can possibly get out of this situation is by defeating the Axis of Resistance in a full scale war forcing them to admit defeat, particularly by formally defeating Iran

These are the reasons I think the region is headed for war, and I disagree that a war isnt in israels interest, in fact, its their only possibility of winning

Sure we don't want the war to drag on but we're just now finishing the first :marseywinner: pass over the area. Seems to early to claim that Hamas :marseynoyouoccupy: is invincible or would :marseymid: be prohibitively expensive to subdue.

I think as long as Hamas has the support of Iran they can keep fighting, its too early to claim that Hamas is invincible but they inflicted a strategic defeat to israel and currently have the upper hand. The war is not over but the notion that Hamas is losing is false in my opinion.
