It's best for translating shit and writing code snippets and making sketches or summarizing stuff. Those are incredible things; but not exactly world-breaking yet.

I still see plenty of new AI pics all over the place so the actual fans are still there. Plus AI is still used in research with news articles about AI discovering new theories still popping up, so it's just normies that got bored :marseyantiwork:

Image/video ai continues to advance and I see a lot of it everywhere. I think people realized chat ai is not actually logical and semi sentient but just really good at guessing what to say.

The more you use it, the more you find limitations.

That and since it isn't an immediate fix most of the time, and it requires new skills to use well, people are just giving up and hoping it won't change their job
