I really don't understand this whole thread. Why the frick are y'all hating on this man for naming his son Oden? In this sub, a lot of people know that it's the name of a Japanese dish and a One Piece character, but in most cultures, no one is ever gonna know and it's just a strong sounding name. The word for "butt" in one language might be a common first or last name in another. Who cares? This boy is named Oden and he deserves our respect. Y'all should chill.

Some people need to be castrated. You do realize naming your son Oden is like drawing a big target on his face for bullies? He will change his name once he's 18 mark my words irresponsible parent.
