I was busy yesterday and am a bit sick so this post is late.
I watched about half of 'More than a married couple, but not quite lovers'. Apart from the ridiculous premise (the students of that school MC goes to have 'marriage training', which means that a boy and girl randomly get selected to live together in an apartment where they have to simulate marriage after school. They also get points for how well they do.), it also has completely standard characters, the MC is a kitty and the female lead seems to be a schizophrenic.
So yeah, its not really good but Ill probably finish it anyway.

Is (((steins))) gate worth watching? I've been eyeing that thing for a while. I've heard that it has a very fleshed out time travel system but beyond that is boring. Is it true?

The first 7 episodes are kind of slow, but the rest is fantastic. It isn't a beginner level show though, you need a base of anime knowledge to understand all the jokes. Also it very much feels like a VN adaptation.

It's an adaptation of a visual novel about nerds set in the late 2000s. It's awesome, they post to not!2chan in some episodes and the whole thing is a reminder of the pre-smartphone anime community. People say the first few episodes are slow but I never noticed, I adored the show from start to finish.
