I don't think I will ever feel like when coco left because those circumstances were extraordinary, but pika always sounded like she was having fun so this hit a little different than the usual graduation

It's not like there is much choice for background noise streams.
You have to choose between the usual "no politics" leftoid that rants about rightoids every stream, the 50yo foid behind a virtual avatar with a chat that types with one hand, and hot-tub streams with the same chat but worse. And maybe jersh streams once in a while.
Still haven't watched any vtuber stream but I see why people might start watching them.

In a sense this is worse because if the reason really is Hogwarts legacy it means they broke her in no time. Coco was a painful and slow stumble between the Taiwan mention and the announcement. Maybe it hit that hard to me because Ive never gone full parasocial so i didn't knew anything about coco outside hololive.
So maybe it's just the fact that coco has an effortpost worth of reasons leading up to her quitting rather than the paragraph explaining pikamee
