Yesterday, after shopping in Ikea with friends we decided to buy their shitty hot dogs. Some guy and a woman were behind the counter. One of my friends forgot fries, and went back. When he returned, he said "that woman... is a man."
I was shook. Not only there was a train but, I failed as a man by not instantly identifying it.
Poland has fallen.
My worthless anecdote (that I really wanted to share) aside, we always were influenced by the west, but in recent years it is more prominent. In Polish fashion we embrace worst aspects of it, like people caring about burger politics, and using tiktok (mental illness). Vtubers may be Japanese invention, but they came here from the west.
[PS: Ikea hot dogs still taste like cardboard, but cost 4zł instead 1zł, like the did back in the day. What a rip-off]

my mom once went to idea to see what's the deal about and she was frickign pissed after she found out that you have to tour the whole shop in order to leave it
thankfully i have never been there, if i want to go watch pretty things (obv without buying anything) then i go to drugstores while shop assistants watch me like hawks
