If you liked Shin Godzilla, you’d love this. Just saw it tonight at an indie theater. I don’t know anything about ultraman but hideaki anno makes great stuff as evangelion is the only anime I’ve seen but shin ultraman has an amazing use of practical effects and miniatures and Anno’s trademark words everywhere, extreme low angles and focus on bureaucracy (also his power line fetish).
Goddarn it owns. Go see it
