She was a half japanese living in Japan who used to be bullied for her race. Started vtubing but ended up getting bullied again but this time by trans for wanting to play wizard game.
Deserved. Hāfus truly are Japan's bane. The injection of Mayos and BIPOCs blood into Grorious Nippon pure breed is an unforgivable sin against our forefathers. We need to keep Japan's line pure in order to obtain the best quality anime.

Pretty much, yeah, I read that so much weebshit is set during high-school because school is the period in life of the average jap where they have the most freedom, oh and also due to s and s romanticizing their times at school as a coping mechanism.
One of the first big idol groups had a school theme, so when an idol from the group retired they would hold a graduation ceremony as a sending off. The terminology caught on for other idol groups and other related fanbase.
There's the whole "graduating an idol" cute thing, but actually graduating in Japan comes with a risk of death
We're coming up shukatsu (job hunt) season right now because it's almost the first week of April. That's when thousands of graduates die their hair black, pack up their colorful clothes for good, and practice becoming a blank slate and sitting down a certain way on a chair, so that they can make perfect robotic movements in the interviews.
Sometimes when people hit job hunt season and see all their friends ditch personality to become "hire me" clones, suddenly wear the same suits and practice the same smile, they think "this is it, it's all over I WILL NEVER BE AN ANIME PROTAGONIST OR HANG OUT WITH MY FRIENS AGAIN" and an hero
more commonly, if they are one of the unlucky ones that don't get a job they might sewer slide :(
Gonna miss the Kettle, and I hope someone was able to archive her channel. I was out of space or I would have done it. It was going to be like 4TB of videos.

Why do the Japanese use graduation as a symbol of death? It's very grim and bleak.

Maybe because they enter the workforce afterwards, which in japan
