Manga probably has the highest concentration of good female creators out of book/films/tv/comics, there's a lot of great stuff out there

I think books probably just edges it out (historically). Women wrote better when they had to pretend to be men or something. Bronte sisters, Austen, Agatha Christie, Ursula Guin, and OF COURSE JK Rowling.

There are more good authors but considering the relatively short time Manga has been around in comparison and that it's basically limited to only Japanese women I think manga has a better ratio
