just realized I'd never actually finished neon genesis evangelion and went back to binge it
Do not recommend. even with the OVA. so convoluted. I can't remember why I thought I liked it outside of some of the kaiju robot fights but those way more boring than I remember.

Music would have been good if it wasn't soooo forced at times. Lacked subtlety, but I guess at the time it was kind of novel for them to incorporate it as much as they did so on the front of originality it paved the way for stuff like cowboy bebop
