Tbh I never saw any anime that actually was scary. Idk I guess its hard to actually do horror as anime.

Tbh, even at it's most grotesque, anime doesn't disturb me as much as that weird 90's Cartoon Network style. That stuff gives me jewish chadie jeebies even when not horror. Anime style much less demented. It respects proportion and geometry. I get uncomfortable when animation distorts too much

It's hard to feel genuine fear through media as an adult I feel, so I can't think of anime that's legitimately scary, but I find Terra Formars to be quite unnerving.
