Other than watching toonami after getting home from school as a kid I've only watched berserk. I feel like there's a lot of jokes going over my head because I don't get the context. Enjoying it tho, good show

It is a parody, but at the same time it's a very accesible anime (obligatory mention that Bill Burr watched it). I'm no weeb, and I didin't get most of the references, yet still enyojed it.
And no, not all anime is like this, this one is in the minority category (it's good).
