Heavenly delusion is insane, highly recommend

Finished all of the Grisaia stuff. It was mid, didn't realise it was a VN adaptation and if I had I probably wouldn't have bothered. Probably gonna pick up Yuushibu. Yuushibu was trash and I dropped it after half an episode

Started Heck's Paradise now S1 is almost done, good show. Gonna start Deltora quest too, I loved those books as a kid and finding out there was a weebified cartoon of it was cool.

Jazzed for summer bc Horimiya side stories, another Mushoku Tensei and JJK season, and the Quintuplets side stories. Rent a girlfriend is also there, but I refuse to watch it unless the MC gets NTRed which is exactly what he deserves.

The final episode of Made in Abyss season 1 and Dawn of the Deep Soul made me feel all weird inside

Probably one of the best anime of the 2010's.

Finished watching season 3 of Demon Slayer, it's much nicer without the annoying crybaby, hopefully there won't be a lot of him next season

I read 101 light novels in the past year! I started with the fantastic Ascendance of a Bookworm, then Mushoko Tensei and then Reincarnated as a Slime. I read 50 light novels in 50 calendar days last summer... In total all the books took 458 hours to read and contain 7.9 million words which comes out to pace of 17,3k words per hour. Pretty good for ESL imo.

I set the goal to read 100 books a few months back, but then I ended up not really liking any of the new series I picked up. So I went back to Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter and read volume two to seven. I did end up getting a bit better, the first four volumes can be considered a prologue of sorts. I'm not going to recommend it just yet since it's in a middle of an arc but I'll read volume 8.

What I will recommend reading is Ascendance of a Bookworm. It's the very best story I've ever experienced in any media.

I finally watched a few episodes of Bocchi the Rock. I can see why it does appeal to self-diagnosed neurodivergents and real shut ins. It only needed penguin of doom holds up spork

While drunk on cheap gin I also fired up few episodes of Gintama, now that's funny shit.

What are people watching next season?

I've been slow on watching because I was finishing my server migration to her new case. Still have on last drive to shuck and put into the new case.

Latest seasons have been kind of weak tbh, havent seen oshi no ko since apparently its so fricking amazing that Ill want to just binge it.
