I actually watched some anime this week!
Miekuro Chan was pretty good except I really could have done without the excessive fan service in the beginning. Rewatched Hanako-kun with my brother, very good anime adaptation. Rewatched LL sunshine season 1 in preparation for the new anime and man twelve episodes and fricking close to nothing happens which is crazy because like no one gets any development and the show kinda immediately forgets anyone who isn’t Chika.
As for the Yohane anime I’m really torn. On one hand I want more Aqours content but on the other hand the two characters we’ve seen so far ARE NOT AQOURS!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HANAMARU THATS NOT HANAMARU THATS A MONSTER WEARING HER APPEARANCE AND SPEAKING WITH HER VOICE!! GIVE HER BACK GIVE HER BACK GIVE HER BACK
Okay now that that’s out of the way seriously lol they just completely destroyed their characters? It makes sense for Yohane who is a chunni to stop being a chuuni in this world tailored to her but what the frick it’s like the writers just totally forgot who Hanamaru was and saw some borgar memes and decided “eh we’ll go with that.” What happened to books? The one thing she finds comfort in? She should be a book seller or a librarian or something what the frick I’m actually so pissed about this.

if you want to skip the fan service, the manga has zero of it. I'm unsure why the anime added fanservice when the original material had none of it.

Bro they only have like three character traits…if you take those away they’re literally just a generic anime girl. I’m the only one complaining now because I’m like one of 10 western Hanamaru stans but when You similarly gets assassinated I suspect the community will take a turn.
Also ur right Sunshine is pretty bad but I love Aqours and they really helped me out when I was going through stuff in highschool.
