Anyone else go watch this? It's in some burger theatres right now. It was overall pretty good and lacked the (overbearingly) fujo pandering that was in its 3rd season. It also wasn't trash like the second season. I'm not sure how they will follow up on it though, other than

I dont like the series enough to go see it in theatres but I'll pirate it later. The first season was good up until about ep 6 or 7 then it kinda fell apart. I like the concept and the aesthetic tho

I think that's all you really need. S2/S3 have very little Akane/Kougami focus if you care about them. You should watch the first movie at least since it's thematically similar to this movie and you will also find out what Kougami was doing after S1.
Only other thing is that new inspector at the end of Season 1 actually gets development in Season 2, and she has small but distinctive importance: all you need to know is that's she's a massive lawstrag.
