Weekly Anime Post 98 (two more weeks till august peepee reveal)

Yotsubato is literally the GOAT manga. It's actually perfect. I don't think there's a single bad chapter. It's the most unquestionably 10/10 media I've ever experienced because I cannot think of a single way it could be improved.

Sunshine in the Mirror is weird, but it's shamelessly weird which is fun. Now that the character introductions are out of the way I'm hoping for some more plot. Episode 5 was probably the best so far, especially if you are a YohaMari shipper for some reason. Hoping for Guilty Kiss kino next week.

Okay I watched the episodes and I’m coming around to it. I think Mari is really cute in this series and I was hoping they’d give her a solo bc Ainya’s voice is heavenly but I guess she’s gonna duet with Riko instead (which is fine but Rikako can’t sing in key during lives to save her life)

I think it’s really fun how Kanan makes most of her projects frog motifs in reference to how her house in Sunshine is an amphibian museum in real life. I hope they explain the extreme size difference between Ruby and Dia because magic species seem to be genetic unless sometimes people are just randomly born as fairies. Also I think making the three contest centers a subunit was a nice touch.
