So I decided to check some outgoing anime's
Half of those are furies shit other isekai shit.
One anime I first spotted was about guy was reborn as vending machine in fantasy world 
Another about girl whiteout half of hear head
Another one about ex hero living in modern world with his Trang gf
Next one about waggle that now lives in zombie apocalypse and now finally can do what he wants. He basically was a simp working in shit job because of cute girl but she was having s*x with the boss
Next one about it's ok to pay waman money so they spend time with you.
There were couple of oh cool kitty looking hero very strong million cute girls in love with him anime.
There also some Chinese shit
That is so bad like it was made with adobe flash with such abstract shit like drawn together that it actually makes it so bad that it's actually ok
But there are just to many isekai and Trang shit lately so no wonder anime fanbase is gay furries now

And that's all it really is I bet. Baits you with wacky lul random item in isekai (because it's such an overplayed and ridiculous subgenre, am I rite guise) but then offers no critique and repeats the same overplayed and ridiculous tropes. Many such cases.

Recently I've found that the more generic and boring an isekai premise is the better it usually turns out to be, see: mushoku tensei, overlord, konosuba. While everyone else is scrambling to have some stupid twist or catch to cover up lack of writing quality. Ultimately I think the problem with the genre isn't the concept necessarily is bad, it's that you can make money even if you write absolute shit so most authors and studios stopped putting effort in.

I don't really understand why all these isekai self inserts have to copy every generic RPG's setup honestly. It'd be so much easier to make a story like this more entertaining by just actually having it be a normal world and not just "my life a videogame"
