Mavis Enthusiast So I got into Goblin Slayer initially from picking up the manga on a whim and I liked it. Was not a fan of the first season of the anime though. Just janky. (the intro was a banger though) The new season has fixed a lot of the issues I had, specifically the animation. Anyway I've enjoyed it so far (I'm 3 episodes in) so I can say if you didn't like the initial season you may just enjoy this new one. That said, in my opinion, the manga is still he best version of Goblin Slayer. I'm not particularly fond of the novel's translation.

I dont read much manga tbh, only jojo & vinland saga. The music and motion of anime gets me through the weaker Japanese plots and tropes
Goburreen Sraya season 2 is pretty good though! Im halfway through (5 eps out of 10 released) and I like it so far!
None of the characters has a real name and Goblin Slayer is as neurodivergent as ever in his quest to vanquish all goblinoids

Vinland Saga is cool. I checked out the first volume from the library once and liked it lots. I should finish it.
Also watch the Pluto anime adaptation it's fricking amazing. My fave manga of all time and they adapted it so well.
