@khaoskid664 confess the latest moeslop ecchi isekai cultivation garbage you've read.

I'll have you know the recent garbage I've been reading hasn't been any of those :marseyind!ignant: I've been reading mother of learning which is about this guy who got stuck in a time loop and is genuinely competent. I find it enjoyable because the mc feels like a real person and not like the generic isekai protag I've come to know and love (stockholm syndrome) and I will never get tired of time loops. I won't spoil more than that in case you ever decide to take one of my suggestions seriously, but it is very good. Also its not even japslop, its amerislop so you know its good.

I think @everyone shills it a lot and it was in the book club voting thread (wherein I voted for it) !bookworms next time?

Mother of Learning is really well done.

All the growth feels earned, and it surprisingly does not feel repetitive for a timeloop story. Lots of different paths taken, and of the MC does take the same path, the story focuses on different events.

If you're into fantasy web serials, I always simp for The Wandering Inn. It's not for everyone because of a slow pace, but it's notable for being the longest piece of literature in the world.

oh interesting, I'll definitely look at the wandering inn so thanks for that recommendation as well. I agree with your conclusion as to why the time loops don't feel repetitive, but I almost wish the author would spend more time on the loops. Often he'll skip like 8 loops and it almost feels like he's cheating me out of good content by doing so.

I'm sorry to say, but it's actually balkanslop.

@ponyblaze I know you recommended this series I haven't forgotten, in fact I loaded onto my e-reader a few days ago. It's just I read so much in November and December it had to take a break. Also I felt I had to recommend something back eventually: On reddit I saw someone comparing The Conqueror from a Dying Kingdom to RTW, now I haven't read either so cant say if it's true but may be worth a look.
