  • Watched Watamote. Tomoko is thoroughly unlikeable and deserves her miserable life.

  • Watched Bokura no :mars!eydepressed: Uninstall is stuck in my head :marseyvibing: Unfortunately it didn't manage to execute on its fantastic premise and the second half is really disappointing with loads of throwaway plots that come out of nowhere add nothing and are quickly discarded. Apparently the manga is a bit better though.

  • Watched Donguri to Yamaneko for some reason. I am completely lost.

  • Finished Oshi no Ko - absolute banger would recommend. Do wish it was more about the industry and less about who wants to shag Aqua but it is an anime after all

  • Went to watch GitS SAC_2045 only to find that apparently I've already seen the first season and gave completely forgotten about it

  • Started Gangsta. It's fun, reminds me of black lagoon. I like what Nic's VA does for his deaf accent

In 3dpd news, I'm also watching The Terminal List which isn't bad, but Chris Pratt just cannot pull off a brooding PTSD veteran act. I do love whenever Jai Courtney plays the antagonist though.

Synduality Noir Shit, Ciel's arc was well done. For a cheap anime about a video game it punches above what it should.

Metallic Rouge continues to baffle me on the plot, its stylish but what even is happening

Synduality is the rare show where S2 is blowing S1 out of the water.

Any mangays where the opposite happens? At least reading chingchong daoist fanfics I can laugh at young masters courting death, japs can't even write "so bad it's good" type of shit.

Where the MC loses, or uses the power of hatred instead of friendship? I guess AoT kinda has both.

Just finished Murenase, which was fun (7/10). :marseycatgirl:

Finishing The Executioner and Her Way of Life, which is mid AF (5/10). Pulls a switcharoo in ep 1 and never really does anything special with its premise.

I thought it qas pretty well executed. The clues that the yuribait's time powers had been used lots before it's actually revealed was pretty good

Watched Dorohedoro and Ghost in the Shell 1995

Dorohedoro was great, honestly last time I remember an anime making me laugh as much was when the first season of One Punch Man came out, Ghost in the Shell was fine.

GitS definitely suffers from being older. It's still a stunningly beautiful work and the animation is god-tier but it's been endlessly copied and paid homage to so it can feel a bit stale.
