I've basically stopped watching anime because nowadays it's just no longer interesting and too many come around, dominate the season then get forgotten. I mostly read manga or watch those hour long anime recaps cause I ain't got time to watch 5 different 12 ep series only get one season anyway

P sure they invented isekai so it's kind of a classic by default, but it has the same problem as every isekai in that once the mc succeeds in his second life it becomes boring af since the whole point is that he was reincarnated as a gigachad

There are good isekai that avoid that trap. Konosuba manages to avoid it. Really any of the Isekai that keep the gimmick going manage to avoid it.

Started watching Kaiba, it's incredibly good and I can't believe I've never heard of it before. The style is very retro but they use CGI in all the the right places. It's very 70s inspired and reminds me a lot of Stanislaw Lem's stories, the universe and colors remind me of Moebius' art. It's only 12 eps, would definitely recommend

Watched a couple of episodes of The Honor Student At Magic High School which is focusing on the side characters but frankly I found it really boring because it's just the side characters constantly jerking the MC off even when he's not there. Gave it 3 episodes and dropped it, gonna just watch S2 instead.
Watching the rest of Ninja Kamui now it's finished airing. The fights are really good.
Not much else this week tbh, I've been busy touching grass.
