This drama happened like a month ago, but at the time it didn't occur to me to make a thread about it here. It was talked about a lot on /a/ and /jp/, but rather than dig through 4chan archives, I found an article that sums up most of the information. I was reminded of it by seeing the Gochiusa thread here on /h/anime, since she voiced a character in that show, and some of the voice actresses she slandered voiced other characters in the same show.

This makes me wonder if the average jap otaku waifu (idol/va/whatever) is a total b-word in real life. They obviously have to put on a yamato nadeshiko facade but I'm sure most people know that shit is pageantry. It seems like just extremely sexless men develop this idealized parasocial obsession with them. I never really got the purity thing either, jap society seems really sexually libertine and debauched in its own way, different from confucian societies.
