Tokyo Majin is franchise that started as video gaym 1998. Non of you obviously heard about it or it would been too mainstream for me. Non of the mainline games were released in the west only 2 side games and one not even set in Tokyo or Japan. The anime is your typical non sense without explanation but it has cool visuals so you don't need any reason for any explanation what's on screen. I like this opening because it's so symbolic and Shinto Buddha Avant-garde. Like the opening starts with a ☯️ then goes to your typical jap crossroad the mix it with moon reflection on water (that symbolise transformation) than straight cherry blossom (that symbolise life and death so like he sings TIME TO DIE 
) then the guy removes his cape (symbolise facing his fear) I am to lazy to continue but you get my point. The cool part all this symbolism is Asian and big chunk Japanese and it clearly was made by an shizo nazi art strag that dreams of making jap great again so I dig that shit.
From this anime year best opening without doubts
