Finished MHA Season 3, Bakugo finally getting some good representation.

Finished Bartender: Kami no Glass which was eh. Decent but not as good as the original series.

Finished Yuru Camp Season 3, it is still incredibly comfy. After S2 and the movie, I was completely happy with it so the art style change didn't bother me as this season was just a bonus.

Fresh off finishing Kaiba I decided I'd clearly not hurt my head enough so I decided to watch FLCL and Sonny Boy. Neither were great and both did indeed make my head hurt.

To stop my head hurting, I picked up Chilling in Another World With My Level 2 Super Cheat Powers. I knew it was isekai slop going in, and it's been total iseka slop throughout. But at least my head doesn't hurt any more.

Now that Konosuba S3 has finished, I'm gonna watch it. I've heard good things.

Just finished Solo Leveling, and I liked it, but the ending had me :marseyhmm:. I guess he's done with his wimpy phase and is now a mega shadow king necroassassin. :marseyshrug:

There's not much intrigue among the guilds, but I guess that's where it's going. I'm suspecting that the manga author doesn't have much of a story left to tell, or he's simply not that good of a writer.

Watching Ranking of Kings. Pretty cool so far :marseyboomer: "Kings" are given a mandate by 3 things: the size of your armies, the loyalty you inspire or how personally powerful you are. So lots of different styles of ruler are shown off.

Beyond that I've been slowly finishing 20th Century Boys. :marseyantiwork:

It's incredibly horny and if I were to watch it for the first time today idk how I would feel. The animation soundtrack and pacing are rly good and it's a neat snapshot into the late 90s. Def something I watch with rose colored glasses

Weirdly I'd managed to avoid knowing basically anything about it despite it being an iconic series so I went in completely blind, and it's just an absolute fever dream.

If it was one of the first things I'd watched I think I'd definitely like it more.

It was one of the first series I watched in its entirety and not long after it came out. I was the exact right age to see it too, and it was definitely a formative anime experience.

It's still imo one of the best coming of age stories I've ever seen and it manages to capture the headspace of a 13 year old boy almost perfectly

The reboots suck. The show was carried by the art in a big way and the new ones don't have anywhere near that momentum. They're just regular anime, didn't watch more than 10 minutes of the first reboot ep
