I feel like Death Note is the most similar !anime to Breaking Bad I've watched. A dude finds a gateway into sneaky crime under a new identity and becomes addicted to the power and thrill of it while trying to hide his illicit activity from his family, carefully manipulating someone else to serve as their partner, keeping close to the cops but gets caught and dies at the end anyways.

Literally none of them. Mob Psycho 100 is the only ones that comes close, and it's still awful.
Although Breaking Bad is pretty mediocre in the canon of American television. The Wire and The Sopranos are far better, and the X Files and All in the Family blow both of those out of the water.
