The anime was great, I even continued with the manga and the first few arcs were pretty good but by the later chapters the manga got so boring that I dropped it.

It's pretty much what happenes. The way she actually got over autism is interesting but once she's no longer a sperg it stops being a cringe comedy and just morphs into a mediocre SoL with wayyyy too many characters and chapters.

Nah it was her 2nd year teacher who forced her into social situations iirc. She befriended 2 of her classmates she was assigned to be in a group with on a school trip and slowly stopped being a sperg from that point on.
